Special Cake from Publix

I ordered our cake from Publix and it was delicious. It is huge and we paid 70+ for it. I threw the receipt away.

White cake, vanilla custard between the many layers, and creme cheese frosting.

So glad to see this. I had been wanting a publix cake, but couldn't figure out which Publix to get it at. Do you have a location and phone number of the one you used? We leave in a week, so I have to get moving on this. Thanks

The closest one is probably over next to the outlet malls just off 535. The traffic is horrid there, though, so it might be worth driving a little farther to the one on 192.

If you go to the Publix website and put in the address of your hotel, it should list all nearby stores for you.

There is a relatively new Publix off of Irlo Bronson Memorial Hwy. just west of Sherberth Road (this road leads from WDW property to IBM Hwy. and is near AKL). The Publix is on the North side of the road.

We started taking the back way in after my gps routed us one day (from BW) and it was much quicker and no traffic messes to deal with!

The access to the 192 Publix near the Gaylord Palms is much easier than the Outlet Mall one - although I do think by mileage it is further away. There is a third at the end of 535 and 192 beyond the Super Walmart as well although that one is in a deteriorating, older mall and the store seems to be going downhill along with that mall. The road access and layout by the Outlet Mall is just so screwed up that getting to/ even finding anything there is a nightmare. As one post above mentioned even those working there don't know how to describe it or find it.

I had the same design for DD's birthday last week. We got it from Lucky's and it was $49.99

Mine might be higher because I had creme cheese frosting as I hate the buttercreme frosting that cakes normally have on them. Plus, I had the vanilla custard filling added. They made a mistake and added roses which rose it 11.00 more than it should have been but we were too tired to argue.

I ordered it from the Publix at Orange Lake Town Center, I believe there is a Target in the shopping center. 407-239-4989. After I added the creme cheese frosting vs. the buttercreme and added the vanilla custard filling, I made a mistake and did not ask for the new price, he started by telling me the base price which is 50 something so I had sticker shock. If you go to the Publix website you can look at all of their cake designs, that is how I selected this one. They have one with Tink and the other fairies but they did not have the parts in for it, he said they would be in this week though. The cake comes in a BEAUTIFUL box with a handle on it, I've never seen such a pretty cake box. We ate this cake all week for dessert. I think it tall part was 4 layers, you can ask to make sure.
