Yup, they are trying to get a few more buyers to get in with AKV, before they announce BLT. I really feel like a BLT announcement is really on the verge even more now. I say definitely by end of September, if not by Labor Day weekend. That is my guess.

I have read the thread & still can't figure out what "BLT" stands for. May be having a senior moment. Thanks in advance

Actually, 100 points was the minimum add-on at the Doorways to Dream event this weekend.

Yes we went on Sat. night and got the whole scoop, closing tonight on our add-on.

They let us cancel our OKW extension and we're using the money to do the add-on. Our guide is waitlisting us for 2008 (June) points. If they don't come through before the deadline we'll just buy the 2009 points.
Now we just have to move the grand gathering to SSR to use the Developer points

To all of you addon experts. If you financed through disney for your first purchase and then want to do an addon, do you get the same financing rate/approval or do they run a credit check again? We had heard that you were locked in for your financing (we did get the preferred rate) for your master and any addons, which is why we did a joint purchase instead of doing one person now, the other person later. Can anyone shed some light on this?

Just got off phone with my guide(for 100 pt. add-on) we would just put down 500 and the 800 credit would go as total down payment. All add-on goes at preferred rate ..... mulling the offer, I might have to add on

I didn't receive an email nor did I attend the event...which I forgot about some how. After finding out the incentives (thanks to this board), I was bummed....then dh surprised me with a 160 pt add on yesterday.....and we received all of the extras from this past weekends event....I am a very happy girl!!!

Can anyone confirm if you get 2008 points with the AKV incentive offer? When I spoke with my guide I thought she said you didn't and that was why they were giving you developer points. We have an October UY and if I was mistaken and she was simply saying you can't use the 2008 points until May of 2009 I would probably jump at this offer.

For my initial purchase in June, I was offered December 2008 use year. After my guide spoke to me, she realized December would not be the most advantageous for my usual travel times. She was able to get me my choice of several prior months. I chose September.

With my Doorway to Dreams event incentive add-on purchase last weekend, I did get 2008 UY points. They can't be used until after 5/1/09 but I do have them. No developer points but I get a $1280 discount price, a $1000 Visa gift card, a free 5-night 1br stay at SSR with 5 days of Fastpass tickets.

Developer points can be used anytime within one year of contract date. Those having nothing to do with the "can't use until May" issue for the regular use year points. They can be used as of your contract date (now) and expire if not used by that deadline.

Bottom line, you own a piece of Kidani but Kidani is not open ~ Florida state law prohibits use of Kidani sold points until the State certifies a certificate of occupancy. The developer points are provided as an incentive to buy now even though you can't use the points you actually bought.

I confirmed yesterday that I was able to get 2008 AKV points with the developer points. Paperwork is on it's way now!
It depends on what's available in your use year and how length of that wait list. We were only going to wait a couple of weeks and then give up and buy 2009 points.

We closed last Saturday (add on) and received 2008 points (Oct use year), but can not use them until May 1st when Kidani opens. We didn't received developers points, instead we were given a 5 night stay in a 1 bedroom at SSR or AKV, but had to give them our choice before closing. Our 160 points were already updated for Oct 2008, and dh made reservations yesterday at SSR for Feb. I can't believe how quick that was!!
