Hey Guys Twinmom108 and family stopped by for a visit, it was very nice to meet them, now we have to get Allen into the Grass Skirt Frat.

Allen & the Grass Skirt Frat??? LOL, Good Luck! If you can manage to get Allen to wear a Grass Skirt I'll do this. :worship:

We're back from a MAGICAL 4th Of JULY in WDW!!!

It was wonderful being there, and seeing all the Red White and Blue. All the golf carts at Ft. Wilderness were decorated up. The 4th fireworks were also shown in the Magic Kingdom on the 3rd. AWESOME! I found myself standing next to a family who were all singing the songs (it was a special patriotic show), so I joined in too. Yes, I had tears in my eyes... no Bob, not from the singing! :rotfl2:

The outdoor SEGWAY Tour at Ft. Wilderness was simply FANTASTIC. We HIGHLY recommend it. The Segways were much easier to handle than those being used in EPCOT. Our tour guides were the best and truly loved their job!

On the 4th we did MK in the morning, and found it wasn't crowded. We had the best location ever for the parade... right at the end of Main Street in the center of the street. They had a roped off area which we happened to come by just at the right time.

In the afternoon, our friend David baked The Best Ever Chocolate Cake which we shared with some great neighbors. YUM!!! later that night, we had a mini cookout with the help of the local grocery store's potato salad, coleslaw, beans, etc. Joe cooked burgers and dogs on the grill. To top off the night we watched the MK fireworks from Mouse Beach.

Now, if we could only figure out a way to pipe in the music! :rotfl: Maybe we can have something after the cruise at Mouse Beach... the only issue would be in transportation as Magic Express doesn't drop off there. ;)

We saw Illuminations the next day and got a lakeside table at Rose + Crown with a beautiful view. Afterwards, we strolled clockwise around World Showcase and were some of the last folks out. It was very relaxing.

Janis, yes, post the pics of the T-Shirts. I'd love to see them.

Tracy, thanks for the offer to host the Wine + Cheese party! Everyone, you can purchase a wine tube from a craft store and put the bottle in it in your suitcase. This worked well for us on the PC cruise. We had no breakage or spills. We did have the bottle in a zip lock bag too.

Ken, thanks again for your super job on the lanyards for our cruise. Hi to Shari too! :wave2:

I forgot to add... we went to Mouse Surplus. They're open M-F 10 to 4... EXCEPT they must have known we were coming... They were CLOSED! :-( I had a whole list of things to buy too!

:) I did the same thing today!

After getting the PM from Tracy about linked dining it made me realize I hadn't done this part yet.

I'm having a bit of a problem and think there's something I'm missing with the on-line check in. Last time I wasn't able to complete or print the cruise line contract and had to do it at the port. It happened again. :confused3

I filled out the guest information form and also the payment form but obviously NOT the flight info because we're only a few hours away. For some reason, the website won't let me print out the cruise line contract. The little button to click to "Fill out form" isn't working.

Is it waiting for flight information?

That is so strange.....we too are not flying and I didn't have any problems last night printing out the cruise contract and such...I was wondering have you completed the guest infomation for all the members in your party?
There are just two of us...so I completed both of our guest information forms and then payment authorization and then printed the cruise contact information. The only problem I had was when I clicked that I was travelling to a WDW resort after the cruise and instead of the resort names coming up, the addresses came up so I had to look in my Passporter for the address of Pop Century. I would try again and if it doesn't work, I would contact DCL.

If DCL really does follow the Boards I hope they're paying attention. We had the same problem when completing our on-line registration, who knows the addresses of the WDW hotels?? What's wrong with using a name.

We had to go out of system , find a copy of Birbaums guide that had the addresses and log back in. :sad2:

It worked! The hang up was with the payment authorization. I didn't list my kids as eligible to charge and things didn't go through. As Tracy suggested, I changed their status and TA-DAH it worked.

The most important thing for me to remember now is that I have to revoke that! YIKES! My kids and charging. :scared1: That's a disaster waiting to happen.

Thanks to both you and Tracy for your suggestions.

Thanks Elaine for the Birthday wishes! We went to a Moroccan restaurant tonight and it was awesome. 5 courses! They even had Belly Dancers.

Sorry your not going to make out to Disneyland. We are going on Saturday for our 3 year anniversary so I will say hi to Mickey for everyone!

Tracy you not even close to old. LOL

Any Way Happy B-day Becca.

Hi Everyone,

Well I guess we are all trying to make our plans. :cool1: Will there be a character breakfast on our cruise? What are the possible dining rotations? I know that you are not assigned until you get there but I didn't know what the possible rotations would be and their abbreviated names. ( like APL??)
If anyone could tell me, I would appreciate it. Thanks so much!!!

It is not likely that there will be a character breakfast on the cruise. The dining rotations have not been set yet.

Hi,

I understand that you cannot get your dining rotation until you sail, but I was wondering the possible rotations. What are the restaurants, and the possible rotations that we would have. Since this is a five night cruise, do you go in order or would you repeat one the next day? This is my first DCL cruise so not sure what's available. Thanks. :)

What I said was the dining rotations haven't been set yet. You said you knew you wouldn't find out which one you have until you arrive so I didn't address that. I have checked with Disney repeatedly and they have not set the order yet. The restaurants are Parrot Cay, Lumieres and Animators Palate. It is likely we will be in two of the restaurants twice and one only once, but which order and when has not been released yet.

Thanks. I understand now. I wasn't sure of the names of the restaurants on the Magic so that is helpful too. Thanks for the information:) I'll check later to see if they have been released. It will be here before we know it. Thanks.
