We went to see the Magic off today in San Pedro! It's was pretty awesome. I couldn't believe we would actually be on that ship in September. When finally leaving they blew that magic horn and I got goose bumps.

I really can't wait to meet all of you and be on our cruise already!

I tear up. Seriously. Tears well up in my eyes. I love that horn!!

I too love the horn....it's WONDERful and MAGICal....

I have the file saved on my computer and get to hear the horn each and every time I get a new email....so much better than just hearing a "bing"!!!!! Now if I could only install it on my work computer...but I think I would drive my co-workers insane especially with the number of emails I get each day!!!!!!!!!!

My DW Shari just happened to be in the San Pedro area on Sunday and saw the Magic at about 12:30. People were just making their way to deck 10. She really wanted to go on down and try and sneak aboard.

If I tell you that I have no idea about cheese curds, will you make me eat one/some?

WHAT...you don't know what a cheese curd is :scared1: (only kidding)

I tried to find a detailed explanation for you and was surprised to find that cheese curds are not available everywhere....I guess I just thought they were available everywhere especially since they are everywhere here (they are one of the ingredients for poutine (french fries, gravy & cheese curds  )). I will admit that Wisconsin cheese curds are much better than Canadian cheese curds.

Here's a link to the explanation about what cheese curds are....

woo hoo...I completed all my online check-in forms tonight.....only 55 more days until we cruise!!!!!

So I'm going to try and look for some Fish Extender gifts tonight. Lol I have no idea what to get for everyone! Looking forward to my birthday tomorrow. Just dinner with the parents then Disneyland and drink on Saturday.

I can't believe I'm going to be 27!

I ordered a Coconut Bra Sorority shirt (and a GSF one for Ron) and it's much nicer in person than on the CafePress site. I'll post a pic as soon as I can.

I knew Tracy & Bill and/or Bob & Cheryl would know.:goodvibes

Curds.
I've only had the ones at Culvers.
I'm sure the Wisconsin ones would be better.

I need to try them at one of my favorite places to visit--http://www.fofarms.com/adventure/cheese_factory.php

I didn't realize Fat Squirrel was from New Glarus too. The ones at Culvers are great for fried curds, but fresh are definitely the best!!

The tour is a full-service ride which provides the framework for one of the most incredible experiences of a lifetime. Offering something to both the beginner and the experienced rider, each cyclist will enjoy one of the most beautiful coastlines in the world as they meander alongside famous wineries, majestic lighthouses and quiet beaches.

The California Coast Classic Bicycle Tour benefits the Arthritis Foundation by raising vital funds that enable the Arthritis Foundation to improve lives through leadership in the prevention, control, and cure of arthritis and related diseases. The funds raised also provide educational resources to help adults, parents and children manage their arthritis through community-based services to make life with arthritis easier.

Ok people,
As many of you know Ken trains and rides his bike, for the Arthritis Foundation.
He spent Almost as much time on this as he did helping with the lanyards for this cruise. :lmao:

Many of you may not know the behind the scenes work put into this project.
I think we went threw 8 different designs before it was just right.
I think you will love it!

Ken is not even on this cruise, but has done many lanyards for other cruises we have been on, also known as the lanyard master. :wizard:

We now, would like to help Ken reach his Goal of 10K for this cause, we are not very far away about $2500.00...

:) I did the same thing today!

After getting the PM from Tracy about linked dining it made me realize I hadn't done this part yet.

I'm having a bit of a problem and think there's something I'm missing with the on-line check in. Last time I wasn't able to complete or print the cruise line contract and had to do it at the port. It happened again. :confused3

I filled out the guest information form and also the payment form but obviously NOT the flight info because we're only a few hours away. For some reason, the website won't let me print out the cruise line contract. The little button to click to "Fill out form" isn't working.

Is it waiting for flight information?

No, it doesn't need the flight information. What is likely the case is that you didn't put down charging information for everyone. All of the kids must have charge information down at this point. When you get on the cruise, you can restrict their charging privileges, but for now you must authorize it or the cruise contract isn't available for printing.

Well Said Peter, A great idea to post this info.

Ken is good people and he does so many good things, has a KEWL family and I for one am glad to know him and call him friend.

Hey Guys Twinmom108 and family stopped by for a visit, it was very nice to meet them, now we have to get Allen into the Grass Skirt Frat. Sounds like they had a great trip to Yellowstone, they had some great critter sightings, I'll save that for her to explain.

Hey Everyone we are back from our awesome trip to Yellowstone. I'll post more on our trip in a few days. Right now I'm up to my eye balls in laundry :laundy: . Our 3 teen DS's are leaving tomorrow for Mexico on a Missions Trip to build a home for a family.

:thumbsup2 Special Thanks to Scott & Lynn for letting our family drop by on our way home, we really enjoyed our short time together. Loved meeting your "furry kids" they're just gorgeous and the basement looks great and is coming along nicely!
