Not sure what the protocol is to properly "join" you guys....
But my family just booked this cruise yesterday and would love to meet some new people!
We are a family of 4. Me, DH, DS (4), and DS (currently 4.5 months) and we can't wait!!!
This will be our second DIS cruise. We did one (3 nighter) in 2006 when DS was 18 months and LOVED it! It was COLD (January) and SHORT (3 nts) and we still fell in love. We're so excited to go again!

I look forward to chatting with you all before our cruise and hopefully meeting others while there!

Lee

Welcome Aboard.
Are you really sure that you want to "join" us?:rotfl2:
Bunch of Pirates, Fruitcakes and People Our Parents Warned Us About that are Growning Older but not Up.

Have a good day, might look for that DVD at Walmart.

Hey Scott & Bob...and any other Buffett fans on our cruise.....today at Wal-Mart (yes..I back in the US shopping!!!!) I found a JB DVD that I'm not sure if it is a Wal-Mart exclusive or just the bonus stuff is exclusive to Wal-Mart....but it's called Scenes You Know By Heart and it was only $10!!!!!
....I'm watching the DVD as I type this and it is really KEWL....Fins was great...

OMG!
Kid, ya got sumptin Buffett before we did?
Actually, have known about this for some time.
Just haven't made it to WallyWorld to get it.
Yes, it is exclusive to WalMart and online at a couple sites.

Was holding out for Father's Day, but Belle got something else. :dogdance:

Scott, the Macadamia nut waffles sound good. Coconut syrup? Yum.

Everyone have a great day.

Yes get the coconut and ornage extract for additional flavor.

Please add my name back on the list because

I am cruising in September!!!

I have had several signs over the last few days that I should not cancel, including a conversation with a PGA tour pro's father that I met at the US Open on Thursday.

I am paid in full and need to start looking for flights.

Welcome! I also have a 4 year old DS. Look forward to meeting you on board.:)

True. To a point.
It depends on whether you are measuring speed relative to the ship or to the ocean.
For example, your speed relative to the ocean from bow to stern would be (ship's speed)-(ship's speed), and your speed relative to the ocean from stern to bow would be (ship's speed)+(your jogging speed). This could be proven using a gps based spedometer.
(The math..... for a ship's speed of 20 mph and running speed of 5 mph)
bow to stern= 20 mph-5 mph or 15 mph relative speed
stern to bow= 20 mph+5 mph or 25 mph relative speed

The speed relative to the ship doesn't matter which way you are jogging.
This could be shown by a pedometer based spedometer.

So there! Have a great weekend you'all

I know...
Math Sux

Ohhhhhh that is just too scary! Now my brain hurts! Have you been taking lessons from Captain Crash???? :rotfl:

ah yes...the steerage bar....as the "sister" of the proprietor I can definitely attest to Leslie whipping up some mean drinks....margaritas, strawberry dacquris, cosmos, rum & diet coke and her prices were a lot cheaper than the ships!!!!! :lmao: Hey Leslie....look a way to make some extra money!!!!!

That Rosa sure was good.....even if some of it "christened" the carpet!!!! Just think....we left our "mark" on the Wonder!!!!

Okay okay okay now everybody settle down! :stir:I don't want the ATF agents storming my room on the ship ... or the DCL police for that matter, or any thirsty cruisers banging on the door after Beat Street closes..... :rotfl2:

The "steerage bar" is not a REAL bar and no libations are for sale!!!!! We just all joke about it because I usually have a generous supply that I bring on board for personal consumption.... :lmao: :drinking1

That's my story and I'm sticking to it!!! :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Not sure what I need to do to get on the list but here is our info.
Linda & Ted w/DD 6 (turning 7 during cruise). Cabin #5133.

Thanks, Linda
