A happy note though , I just booked our precruise stay at the CBR from Aug 26 till the first. With free dining to boot! Now I have just one more TS to reserve...

I have been MIA from this thread for a while, you know, life gets in the way! But we are getting excited that summer is almost here, which means it won't be long until we are on the ship!

We are leaving in 22 days for our 5 night stay on Grand Cayman, and I cannot wait! Our vacations on Grand Cayman have been our second favorite vacations of all. Of course, the Disney cruises are the number one favorite!



My DD is 10, would she do?

She loves getting to know friends ahead of time. PM me and I'll send you her email address for your DD's.

My DD will also be 10. Pm if the girls want to chat!

We will be making the trip to WDW... leaving home this afternoon at 2:00. Into Orlando 7:30. We are oh so tired and exhausted from every angle.

It looks like a few in our group could use a . My husband just backed out of the cruise so it looks like I will be going alone again. Can you believe it has been almost 3 years since the Panama Canal cruise?

Actually only 4 months to actually get through...all of May, June, July, and August...and then we depart on September 1. So we are actually a month closer than you thought

I have an dd who will be 8 in June. I also have two sons 12 and 13.

I have an 11 year old son who will cruise with me. I can't believe it is only 4 months...and I have yet to start that workout plan, oh well...

Our daughter will be 8 on Sept. 18. This will be her 3rd Disney Cruise. She LOVES the clubs. We will have to introduce the girls. If I knew how, I would insert a picture of my children from our last cruise. It is hell to be a computer idiot.

Awesome! My DD will be 8 on the 19th of this month. (She is very excited that her birthday is almost here!) This is our 2nd cruise. She met a couple of girls via snail mail and email from our cruise in 2006 and they were instant pals when they finally met in person.

Where in Florida are you? We're in Lee County.

I just booked this cruise today and can't wait. There will be two of us:myself and DH. We have a Category 11 GTY. I am so excited! We wanted to book this in November, but it was fully booked so we booked the September 7th sailing of the Wonder instead. Now we have ended up with nearly a back to back cruise. This will be our first cruise and I am so looking forward to this.

Was a great weekend here. Well the weather was good today anyway.
Enjoyed Jazzfest online yesterday.
JB and Allen Tousaint doing "Do You Know What it Means" was great.
It was good to see Dr John was still heating things up.

Kentucky Derby was fun except the afterwards. Sigh. I hated to see that.
Did enjoy a Mint Julip. Yes, Celeste, the mint is up!

Hope everyone enjoyed the mini meet.
I read where Scott finished, but how did everyone do during the marathon?

Georgie, our backyard smells wonderful this evening. (not lime/coconut Peter)
I don't if it was the Apple blossoms, the Dogwood or the Liliac.
Maybe it was the combination of all.

Can tell spring is here for sure now. The Drive-In is open now.

I didn't see the aftermath of the Derby but I heard about it. How awful.

Well, we had a rough week here guys. One of my DS's (17) lacrosse team mates killed himself Wednesday night. He was 15. This is so out of character for this kid. There are more questions than answers. He was a terrific kid with awesome parents. Only Cory knows why.

I am not sure if spring has made it to Ohio yet. It was really chilly here yesterday. Today was cool but sunny.

Going to be paying our cruise off in the next couple of weeks so we can book our excursions. That huge sucking sound will be my savings as we are due to close on our DVC points in a couple weeks also!

So my boyfriend saw an add on the Disney website we own for the free dinning and got all excited and said wouldn't it be great to do WDW before our cruise? (Little did he know I was already trying to make this happen lol.)

I jumped on the phone and called Disney. We wanted to do something before hand but no Value resorts were available and cheapest was SSR at $1600. Then we had her check for the 6th-9th of September. They had Movies available with free dinning. So we paid the deposit and now have the reservation. The more and more we think about this the more he wants to cancel. $900 for everything. But is that a good deal for only 4 days and 3 nights. I also really wanted to end with the cruise. Could we find a better deal not going with Disney. We could use our points but that would mean no free dinning.

What do you guys think?

OMG how horrible! What a tragedy! How is your son taking it? My boys are 15 & 17 (lacrosse players, too). They lost a classmate a couple of months ago. Heartbreaking!
