We're surprising our DS(5) too. We'll be in WDW for 7 days and then we'll drive to the port "to look at the Disney Magic" and tell him then when we are unloading the luggage. We'll see if we can keep a secret that long

That's a really good idea! We might just have to do that! Not sure if we can keep it a secret that long, though.....

We'll be in WDW for 4 nights prior to the cruise at the POLY. I can't wait!

Name badges and lanyards are usually given out in the terminal prior to boarding and/or at the dismeet on board.

I'm sure that more information will be provided prior to the cruise.

As they shall be this time! If there is a dis meet the night before the cruise you will be able to get them then!

Or as Ken said at the port.

But once they allow you on the ship at noon, I
will be around! deck ten the side closest to the port building! MID ship...
After I eat of course!

I will be the guy with the Boxes of Lanyards!




Also look for us at the sail away party on deck 10...

If you do not have them by then, I may run around to a few cabins!


So keep those cabin numbers coming!

Good Luck with that!!! We surprised our DD in 2006.... It was a blast!!! She knew nothing about it... I kept the secret for a year and a half... Planning was so much fun! We started by picking her up from school in a limo and then it was off to the airport, still with no idea of what was to come.... We went down the night before and stayed in Cocoa Beach and the next day we left for the port. Still with no idea. We told her we were going to a better hotel.. She celebrated her 10th birthday on the Magic. It was a birthday she still talks about... I think it was her favorite one!!!! I did not try to keep this one a secret.... That was a lot of work!!!

ARRRGH, it sounds as if there be a whole bunch of Dirty Rackhams on this cruise!!!

We went by the names Galley Annie and Jolly Joe on prior cruises... we'll see if we choose other names for this one.

I checked....we were at WDW September 11-18, 2000 so sadly we weren't on the same tour....At least we know we were both at WDW when Hurricane Floyd hit in 1999 (September 14, 1999) along with DisneyPinDiva....even though we didn't know one another....I looked through all my pictures from 1999 just to see if maybe you guys were in the background....but no luck!!!!
