Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued

Has anyone done Stuarts Cove? The two 13yo in our group are in Scuba camp this week with the hopes that they pass the test on Friday! They are loving it! Both DH's are already certified and want to take the boys on a private dive while in the Bahamas. Someone recommended booking private over the Disney excursion. Anyone ever done this?

Stuart and Michele Cove have a very good operation, a little far from the cruise dock as they are on the west end of NP island.

Hi all, I am booked on the 9/1/08 cruise and can't wait to set sail. I made my final payment today! Yeah! Anywho, I am interested in being added to the list for this cruise if I can be. I love the FE idea and I didnt see any on my last cruise which was about 4 yrs ago. It sounds like a lot of fun! I will be traveling with my DH and another couple. We're staying in cabin 7510, Donna and Sean, late seating for dinner. Any advice on participating in the FE? Is there a min #, and if I have read things correctly it looks like we get a list with cabin# so we know who drop off a surprise to? Are we all meeting on the ship etc.. Sorry for all these questions, but the FE is new to me! THanks!

It just means I would shoot them/their family, and they would shoot mine, just in exchange for photos (be they prints/disc, etc-no money trades hands).
We do this on photography boards all the time, so I was hoping there might be another professional photographer on board because I'd love someone else to photograph my dd so I could maybe be in a few for a change!

We are not profesional photags, but I did stay in a Holiday Inn Express last night. JK. We have a Nikon D50 we'll be bringing that we are pretty good at useing. We'll help you get some good shots if you want. We have the same problem. Our DD is going to think Mommy didn't love her cus its only me in all the photos.

New Tipping Guidelines

As of July 13, the suggested gratuities are changing. Anyone adding pre-paid gratuities after this date will be charged the new amount:

3 night $36 per person
4 night $48 per person
5 night $60 per person
7 night $84 per person
15 night $180 per person

I will be happy to still do a scrapbooking thing on this cruise. I already warned my CM buddies that I would be doing it. I had 78 last time! Way too many at once.

Anyway, I'm trying to figure out what exactly to do and will come up with a plan shortly. With airline restrictions with baggage and shipping costs I have to refigure my plan of action.

I'm still planning on doing the mini nav too.

I don't have much free time to be on the boards right now, but I'll check back in. I'm gone all next week on business and trying to get budgets done and financial reports before I leave.

I just learned this from the owner of my company.

She and her husband went on a vacation recently to the Bahamas. Without thinking anything about it they brought their I phones. When they received their next bill they learned that the I phone checks for new e-mails on a regular basis. All of these e-mail check showed up as overseas roaming charges. I don't know how much exactly it was but it was an obscene amount.

So the moral is, if you have an I phone, don't bring it on the boat or turn it off.

I can't believe it's getting closer and closer to our cruise. I'm going to start freaking out pretty soon. We finally bought our plane tickets last week and used our United vouchers. We also booked Old Key West for two nights before the cruise. Our first time staying at OKW!!!

I have been to Disneyland three time this week! Friday to see a friend, Monday and Tuesday for the Media event for Toy Story Midway Mania. Lots of fun but got sunburned!
