Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued

Ok - today should be the final pay date - so we should know who is going and who isn't....I have not heard back from the previous person who was doing the cabin tours .... so i was thinking ... could everyone who is willing to open up their room for a tour, please pm me with the following info:

name, category, room number (if you know it), anything special about it (ie handicapp, sideways, Disney Suite , secret porthole, secret verandah, etc...)

I was thinking the day at sea is probably the best day to do the tour (I could be totally wrong on this though!!)- what do y'all think about it?

We have a gty room. Will the upgrade us automatically if they can or do we have to call and ask? If so, when should we do that.

Also to switch to early dining, do we wait until we are on board, or should we do that ahead of time, and again when?

I figure now that final payments are due it may be the time to do that.

If you booked through a TA, make sure they waitlisted you for early dining. If not, call Disney and make sure you are on a waitlist. If you don't clear the waitlist prior to the cruise, you can try to switch onboard.

As for an upgrade, if you call and ask for an upgrade, it will cost you. They will upgrade you if they want (not if they can) and there is no rhyme or reason to upgrades.

It just means I would shoot them/their family, and they would shoot mine, just in exchange for photos (be they prints/disc, etc-no money trades hands).
We do this on photography boards all the time, so I was hoping there might be another professional photographer on board because I'd love someone else to photograph my dd so I could maybe be in a few for a change!

Now for some Disney stuff.
I don't know how many of you are familiar with GoogleEarth.
It is a really neat program that allows you to see with a birds eye about any place on earth. KEWL.

Anyway, Google recently teamed with Disney to develop 3D views of DisneyWorld and the surrrounding parks. Neat stuff.
