Just talked to Lynn and she is doing good, she said she has even walked, so that is good, She said her knee was really messed up inside, so I am really glad they got in there and cleaned it up. Wish I was not here in Dallas.

Good Morning Folks!

I am again amoung the living - I was not sure for awhile yesterday, not because of the knee, but because of the pain killer they gave me as I left. It started to hit me as I got home after filling script at Walmart. I felt progressively worse during the day, and by 7pm, I just had to go to bed. The only thing I had to eat after the cookies they gave me after surgery was a piece of toast. I spent the whole day laying down, with ice on 20 min, off 40 min! Today I feel fine, knee still does not hurt (at least until after physical therapy this afternoon), and stomach is fine now that the pain killer is out of my system. I guess the knee was really bad - doc said he did all he could for it without doing a lateral something (moving kneecap over). I will spend the day again with the ice on 20 min, off 40 min, but I can walk fine - the crutches just got in the way.

We are looking forward to our January 3 cruise with our entire family including our new 5 month old granddaughter (Rob and Amber's little girl).

Mom and I spent the day shopping for furniture and other stuff damaged in the flood...we found a really nice wall unit, a KEWL sofa, vacuum, shop vac....and other stuff.....we are exhausted....but we had so much fun.

Hi Elaine and Margaret: I had a chuckle when I read YOUR post because I was unaware that the "other Rob and Amber" were even going to have a baby!!
That is too funny!

It sounds like all is going well with your shopping and replacing what you lost in your "flood." We ended up having to toss everything also. Every time it pours I keep my fingers crossed now. I hope you escaped the tornadoes they had in the Ontario area on Thursday night - very wild weather to say the least.

Mom and I were out shopping again today.....bought a frig, freezer, office chair and some accessories....I *almost* bought a 52" plasma tv....but decided to wait until the basement is finished and the new wall unit is in before we get the new TV.
