Mom says thank you for all her birthday wishes.

She had a great time celebrating her birthday at WDW.....Leslie & Joe joined Mom and I at The Garden Grill for dinner and Chip & Dale, Mickey & Pluto all had fun with Mom....I don't think they ever walked by our table without hugging or "kissing" Mom.....they made her feel very special....

We head home tomorrow...will write more when we are finally home.

It's been a hectic week here. Will spare the details which surround a little 4 letter word... WORK!

Joe got an airconditioner for his birthday! LOL! He also got the remastered Star Trek... all three years. We've been watching them. He's trying to make me a Trekie too!

Yup...a short trip to celebrate Mom's birthday....I picked up a KEWL Disney game for the Wii while we were at WDW....Think Fast....I just tried it out and it is a blast!!!!!

Does anyone else have it?

As alot of ya get ready to head out on the Wonder cruise, once again i am still thankful to have gone back to work, he says looking at his pay check!
LOL
a 650 million dollar project is a good place for me lots of time and $.

I have been working 2nd shift was 4 to mid ~ getting home about 3 am with OT$!
LOL

they have moved our shift from that time to 6P to 4:30 AM.
yip 4 10's today i am off and rest of wkend..

in about a months time i am going to days! M-F.

they need us there over night to be able to get certain things done with out a major part of the work force being there...

The Night Crew (US) just won safety crew of the month, that got us a catered lunch. BBQ was selected.... 25 guys !
also Home Depot GC's handed out...

We had big storm earlier in the week. A real goose drownder!(yes, that's the way it is spelled here)

Don't have that one. Plan on getting the Wii Resort game. Looks like fun.
Especially the frisbee game.
Then Beatles Rock Band in September.
Maybe Toy Story later.

To those who will be sailing on the 10 Year Wonder cruise, have a great time.
Wish we were going. Think that when you are at Castaway, we will be Woodstocking.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend.

Our contractor came by today with bad news but in a way good news....the bad news is that our entire basement needs to be gutted but the good news is that we get a new basement that will be mould and mildew free.....our contractor also told us that all our belongs in the basement need to be boxed up, including our crawlspace. This is going to be an overwhelming task but Mom and I know it has to be done....we just can't believe how much damage was done because of the almost 5 inches of rain that fell in 2 hours. Mom said she wanted the basement and crawlspace cleaned up and organized but she didn't mean for it to be done like this.

Welcome Home to the Anniversary Cruisers.....

Mom and I have been cleaning up a storm....who knew a crawlspace could hold so much "stuff"!!!!! We took 40 bags on the weekend to our equivalent of your Goodwill Store....and we still have a bit more cleaning to do. We haven't even touched the side where my Dad's tools were but we figure most of them were destroyed by the flood. The contractor said his crew would clean up that side of our crawlspace.

I did find some interesting Disney stuff though....like Mickey Mouse ear muffs and a pamphlet from when the Yacht & Beach Club opened and some newspaper articles when Disney did the Mickey Mouse balloon tour.

Okay....off to continue cleaning.....just wanted to welcome back our Dis Family from their cruise.

Bob... Hope to see you in October. I think we have a 24 hour window between when you guys arrive and we leave.

Elaine... Glad you're moving forward with your STUFF... and that your Mom's birthday trip was a success. Just think, soon you'll be on the road again, back to the World.

The cruise was fun... VERY FUN. We missed those who weren't there.

I had to handle a root canal just 2 days before we left, but all went well. It was great to have it taken care of, even though it meant time lost for the parks.

Where DID the Summer go? It's so HARD being back to work! I need a truckload of Pixie Dust!
