Can any of you tech talented people tell me why the bottom of my sig pictures are getting cut off?? I've added spaces underneath etc but nothing seems to work.

O.K. Les, I may not be tech talented but,
I believe I was told once that the signature space can only be 250 pixels high. So that may be your problem.
Try removing one of the text lines and see what happens.

I am not on Facebook either.
Something to do with "Fools Rush In Where Angels Fear To Tread".
Am on Twitter. Same name.

Good Morning Folks!

Gray, cool day here today - high supposed to be 55 degrees and it is breezy. It might be nice after the 80-90 degree temps we have been having.

We got sunflower seeds planted yesterday along the back fence - if they grow, you will be able to see them as you drive by on Hwy 30. Now I just need to get some soaker hose to keep them watered, as I do not have a hose long enough to reach around to the back of the fence.

Lynn, at least there's no snow! I've always wanted to grow sunflowers. They are so vibrant. Send a picture in the summer when they are in full bloom!

Was surfing channels on the tv yesterday and noticed that Oprah had Skype as the subject of the day.
They were doing video conferencing.

Georgie, that could be a way to do a virtual mini-meet.

Foggy and cool here this morning, again, high supposed to be only 60 degrees, and we are supposed to have thunderstorms this afternoon. Another day that I can put off dog walk until after breakfast.

We got a soaker hose set up to water the sunflowers yesterday - doesn't look they will need any extra water for a few days!

Was surfing channels on the tv yesterday and noticed that Oprah had Skype as the subject of the day.
They were doing video conferencing.

Haven't skyped since Lee's shower, lol. I did see the Oprah show though, as we got a heads up from Bonny Doon Winery that she would be doing a tasting on that show.

Four day weekend here for my Bob also, well, he worked from home today, but he could do it in his comfy clothes. We will do some burgers on the grill.

Hey, have any of you tried Facebook?? I'm finding it to be a lot of fun and an easy way to keep in touch... Even the DIS is on Facebook!!!
I'm there under my usual email DPD... if anyone wants to find me.... I know I'm technologically impaired but I'm figuring it out..

Okay...I signed up on Facebook a few days ago but I have had so many requests from people I went to school with that I really would prefer not to keep in touch with....I think I am going to be deleting my account....I find it extremely wierd that people that I never talked to in high school and have not seen or talked to in over 25 years now want to be "friends"......too wierd for me....I'll just stick to email....

It was a gorgeous day here in NJ! uSunny and 85 degrees. Our first of many furloughs, but we used the day to our benefit. Cleaning, car shopping, flower buying. It was a real "mental health" day for both of us. To be away from the office was WONDERFUL!!!

I saw my sister has a facebook account. I thought about asking her to be my friend... Then I thought better of it. I'm quite sure she doesn't want me to see/read all of the comments, notes. She'd thing Big Sister was checking up on her!

It was a gorgeous day yesterday.
Today is starting out a bit cloudy.
Still, it is not raining or snowing and I can wear shorts.

Facebook. I may have to be a lemming and put up a page.
I know folks I work with have one. Might be fun.
So Elaine, don't bail yet.

Bob (the other Bob), put up the work. It is the weekend.
Have a little "coffee" and enjoy life.

Wow, only 5 months until our Halloween trip.
It will be so good to meet up with old friends.

Bob...too late...I bailed....I don't like that fact that all these people tracked me down in less than 2 days....too wierd for me...but then again I do have the little ONSTAR man in my new van and he knows exactly where I am at all times...and knows where all the Cracker Barrels and Bob Evans are!!!!

We were hoping to find a GREAT deal on a PT cruiser. They won't be making them past 2009. We like ours but it's 9 year old. We thought we would get repairs done to it and take it to Mouse Beach (since it really won't get anything on a trade).

But, the interest rates are not that kind right now, so we are passing. It was a tough decision, especially since they did have a RED Touring Edition!

Georgie - I rented a PT cruiser in CA - it was fun to drive, but they are really small! If we had Scott, me and the 2 dogs, it would be REALLY crowded!

I still have not been dragged into facebook!

We got alot done today - cleaned the garage, went shopping for plants, and planted 2 pots of flowers, and 6 rasberry, and 2 blackberry plants. We will see if they really grow here!

Raining and cool all day, we planted between showers.

Well our weather did not change, foggy, cold, rain and wind.... did a 10K on the Tread Mill, I can not make the race we planned to attend tomorrow due to work. So I did the virtual today.

Our Barn needs soem cleaning out, all the const debris etc form the basement project. 30X60 so lots to clean.

Hope all are having a great weekend. Time to make Breakfast burritos...

We got all of our flags out and up, and our flowers planted. It looks very patriotic with all of the Red White and Blue.

It's raining cats and dogs now, complete with thunder and lightning! WOW! We're right in the middle of it! I hope it clears for tomorrow. Our town has a hometown parade complete with the local Brownie and Boy Scout troops, fire engines, High School Bands, etc. Later we will be having a cookout at M+D house with all the usual picnic fare. I've got the jello and the franks and beans made. Tomorrow will be the scalloped potatoes, deviled eggs and corn. Joe will man the grill. David will be over and is bringing a cake. YUM-O!

Scott, congrats on your run!!! If you and Lynn, can stop by for the picnic, could you bring some of your raspberries!!! They are a favorite!

I should keep cleaning out the basement, but planning for a picnic is much more FUN!!! Leslie, you'll have to get me back on track!

Happy Long Weekend to all. Just returned from a non-Disney trip to Florida..boy what a week of rain on all but one day. I felt so bad for all those families who had planned their vacations. Of course we did hit the parks a few hours. Was so nice to see Mickey once again. Looking to cancel the Thanksgiving trip and maybe xfer the DVC points to another hotel and do our first Christmas at Disney World. Kids are older now with Blaire 16 so this could be the ideal time for one more big trip as Brandon only has two more years of college.

Yard work is done, pool is open ( but very dirty) a bit more chores on Monday and them ???

We never got our flag out because of the rain - I am hoping that tomorrow is dryer so that I can put out the flag! We went kayak shopping today, never did clean out the barn - guess that will now be next weekends chore!

Oh My!!! We were just there in February! I bought some little boxes with Mountain Top on them. They will really have a special meaning now.

Thanks for sharing. That is really sad. I know that was a HUGE tourist stop.
