This is what I found this morning.

System #1 may bring something by week's end.
System #2 looks like it is unorganized and may turn north soon.

I have always had a good feeling about our September cruises.
This one, I have been hedging my bets. It has been too quiet.
Yes, we bought the travel insurance this time.

Nftysqrt, since you are midship, you should be in good shape.

After we sailed thru the 25 foot waves of the Atlantic last year, the caribbean will be a piece of cake.:thumbsup2

Let 'er buck. :cool1: :cool1:

Thanks Peter. How do ya do it?
As Scott say, you da man.
I also have the pdf link in my signature.

Sorry we won't make any of the meets. Long story.
We won't arrive at MCO until 10:30 cruise day.
Figure 1 hour to get luggage and get on the bus.
Another hour on the bus to port.
So we will get to port after Scott has already ran onboard and up and down all of the decks. About 12:30.
Unfortunately, we won't arrive until after Leslie (with the ie) has eaten all of the shrimp. But then, we know she won't eat all the Mango Soup.

... maybe not, BUT Georgie will be on board before you... and she likes the stuff! :rotfl2:

Wow!!! Off and chatty!

Scott... your home looks GREAT as susal!

So sorry for those still sick. Zinc, Airborne, Vitamins...

Crazy yesterday. Mom B. still in great pain. x-rays showed a hairline fracture on a vertebrae... one was new, another was older. There is a procedure they are considering. More tests today.

I am just now opening up my e-mail (sigh)

Of course, there is laundry and packing, and trying to find clothes that fit! :rotfl2: Oh Yes, and today, I've GOT to get to Party City... for our grass skirts!

Bob... will check e-mail for flash player update news. I shouldn't have downloaded that upgrade!!!

Howdy Folks......

I just arrived home a few minutes ago from my morning workout. I started going to the gym every morning on July 4th of this year. I call it "My New Independence Day!!!" To date I have lost over 13 pounds and several inches. My workout this morning was 80 minutes and I said good-bye to 950 calories. I can do longer workouts on the weekends, during the weekdays I can only get in a 45 minute workout before going to work. I average about 450-500 calories during the weekday workouts.

I have 4 more days of work before we fly to Florida. I took a vacation day tomorrow so I can watch the Magic sail through the Panama Canal, it's a good thing I'm not addicted to DCL or anything, isn't it.....:rotfl:

Mango Soup, that's my favorite, so watch out!!! :lmao:

Hey Bob, erh Morris, You can sleep when you get home LOL!!!!!

Andy very KEWL about the workouts, keep it up. I am sure there are lots of folks walking/running etc... on the Magic. Who knows one day we might see ya at a Disney Race. They are fun.

Note to chefs on the Magic, there may be a run on the mango soup.

Andy, you crack me up!!

I have been keeping an eye on the weather. System one is projected to go into the gulf and looks more like a threat to Mexico and South Texas, from what I saw. The other may go north and be pushed east. Of course, you all know how hard these things are to predict....humm....Fay!

Here is a link to a projected path of the first disturbance;

And the second one;

Well, i am going to do my best to chat with the man upstairs to put in my request for good weather - our last cruise was such a disaster, big cold front - wind, rain, and HUGE waves (we were told 30-40 foot!!) it was NOT a pretty pic , and it lasted for days.......... :(
This cruise is a redo for me, and i want it sunny and warm with calm seas. Not too much to ask huh? ;)

No running for me by docs orders, but I can do a fast walk(4.0 on treadmill is my limit). I've had 7 knee surgeries over the years and my knees can't take high impact activity anymore, that's why the docs order for no jogging or running.

Speaking of the man upstairs, I need to start getting ready for church, see y'all later........:wave2:

I'll tell ya, i give credit to anyone who can consistantly walk at 4.0 - i am just NOT a fast walker, but i can run... I am signed up to do the 1/2 princess marathon in WDW in March, and i am doing it with my mom, we are planning on doing a walk/run combo.. but i need some fast walking tips guys!!! I may need a fast walk training session.

Walking is good, very good. 15 min miles is very respectable. The main thing is you are getting active.

I know.. i am missing church today, i am at my grandmothers in CT this weekend..

We are missing church too. Laxdad is heading out on business this afternoon and won't be back until Thursday night. This is a habit of his! Leave before the mad packing begins and return when it is finished!! Still going to pray for smooth seas and the wind at our backs!

I'm not going to stress too much. It is what it is. Hope for the best, prepare for the worst. We have had smoother seas when we sailed in Sept last year than the cruise before that that was in December. REALLY rough last night at sea but we won't go there!

I am so doggone wired today I can't stand myself!!!! I need to get on the treadmill to exhaust some of this energy. My mind is racing with tasks to do! I am driving my family nuts!!

I want to do this one too, but I don't run. HAve been working on a fast walk, and have been reading about walk run combos, but I still have a very long way to go... Haven't done anything lately. Life is moving quickly. Bottom line... I just need to make it a priority.

If I sign up, will let you know! I've already bought a princess crown emblem to iron on a t-shirt should I decide to do it! :rotfl2: (Don't laugh Leslie... it's somewhere in a box in our garage!)

MY HEAD IS SPINNING!! I CAN"T KEEP UP W/EVERYONE!
I Can feel the excitement.

So come heck or high water we will be on this cruise-broken limbs, cuts, bruises, stitches, work issues, school issues, volleyball team concerns, MIL sick, flying in from DL races, skin concerns, home improvements on hold, 40th BD, last minute trips, trip -re-do's, whatever the case may be-we will all be on that MAGIC come labor day-grass skirts, FE's, door magnets, wine bottles, cast plastic bags, pirate paraphanalia(sp?), warts and all!

Sat pre-cruise meet definately works better for us-Thanks Peter. We do have ADR's at Yachtmen-8:00pm, so hopefully we can make it to OKW-or I can change my ADR's to a closer venue like Olivia's or Turf Club atSSR. We are doing Free Disney Dining so I am trying to go to places I would not usually go to if I was "paying";) . We always go to Olivia's--it is like my Cracker Barrel:goodvibes !

Stuff to do!:laundy: Went to church last night on our way to see the Saw Doctors on Governor's island off lower manhattan. (If anyone is familiar this was once a military island and then Coast Guard had it. Now NYC has it and it is considered "Park land".)

Good Morning All! Glad to see everyone is up and at em!

I seem to have contracted my DS's cold. We don't leave until Saturday so hopefully I will be over it by then. Need to go to Walmart and get some vitamins, etc.

That seems mild to what some are going through right now. Georgie, here's some pixiedust: for your MIL. Virginia and Leslie, here's some for you pixiedust:

Off to church! I'll say an extra prayer for good weather too.

Thanks for the weather info Laxmom. By the way, it looks like we will be neighbors. I look forward to meeting you.

Does anyone know if they make grass skirts for little fellas? 3 years old?

Everybody have a great Sunday!

Ugh...colds all around here too, or something like that. DD started preK last Monday. I was SCARED to death she would end up sick, since last year everytime she went to daycare she got sick. And she doesn't get normal sick...she gets a cold, that lingers for 2 weeks, then turns into a respiratory infection, and often, pneumonia. So Saturday she woke up completely stopped up and sneezing...it continues today. We started giving her the breathing treatments with her nebulizer (sp?) last night and if she isn't showing signs of improvement by Tuesday I am calling her Dr to see if she'll give her the "magic shot" that always runs pneumonia off. They think she is probably pre asthma, which is why she gets knocked down so easily. :sad2:

Sigh...
