Anyone rented Jet Ski's in Nassau? I've seen old postings on other sites that it's possible, but don't know how far from the cruise ship, or how much...

ahh....the pin line....that was one of the highlights for us on the cruise!!!!! I think that was also when I got to know a lot of the Disers on the PC cruise...'cause we were all "sleeping" near one another.....for those that asked, I'm not sure what DCL thought about our pin line....they didn't stop it, in fact Mary Jo came and gave us hand stamps around midnight so that in the morning nobody could "jump" the line. Also, in the morning DCL brought us coffee and juice.

The pin line couldn't have worked out any better because we were all already in our jammies so after getting our pin vouchers we just headed on over to Lumieres and had breakfast in our PJ's....

There were a lot of people that were upset about sleeping in the hall for their pins etc but we made it fun.....we started out in formal wear (since it was formal night)....then changed into casual wear and then PJ's.....the line did snake all the way from Sessions, along Beat Street....through the atruim and all the way back to Parrot Cay!!!!!

Sorcerer-Mickey, sending prayers your way. Thanks for sharing your story. We are also sharing this cruise with our DS and DDIL and DS 17 and his buddy. I cherish making memories with my kids!

As far as the volleyball thing goes, there is an international law that all participants must at least turn 16 in the year of the game! And we will be checking passports!

Lesley! I never saw the Blue Fairy on the PC cruise!!! I would LOVE to be turned into a little girl for this cruise!!!

Okay Bob... you have your transportation to everywhere... except Mouse Beach!!!

Okay! We just had to go back to Staples to buy more FE stuff... because... someone (that would be ME) can't find the 2nd half of what was in the original bag! Maybe it's in a Box in the Garage!!! I know someone who is laughing as they read this!

Dinner. Dog walked. Chill time out back.
The apple tree is doing quite well this year. TONS of apples.
They should be ripe after the cruise.
Then I can make apple pie.
Now if I can just find lard.

Starting to get pumped about the cruise and AKV.
Don't know which I am more excited about.
Did buy some Sky Dog wine the other day for the wine and cheese thingie.
Only 18 days to go, so we are starting to put together a packing list.
Lets see......

When we got there the next morning the line was all the way back to AP.
We did not get the pins.
However, there was one very kind Diser who heard about our loss and sold us a set. Great guy.

Take a cab over to Atlantis, bout 5 bucks each way make your way to the beach, they rent them there..

Dont forget to barter on the price!
I dont think you will be allowed to cut thru Atlantis to get to the beach, but next door you can!

However you can go to Cabbage Beach at Paradise Island and walk the beach like you are heading to Atlantis....there will be at least a dozen waver-runners and they are all looking to make deals with you. If it's a rough sea day don't bother as they will not be there.

As the year progressed and the economy was taking a down turn, I started to second guess myself about the trip. Also, people who I worked with thought I was crazy to do the trips. I love to travel and share it with my ds. They couldn’t believe I was going again. I was driving to work on a beautiful early morning. The sun was orange and just peaking through the clouds. I was looking at the seen and thinking how grateful I was to be here and what we all have. Later, the same day I was injured on the job. When they took X-Rays they stated my hand wasn’t broken like they thought but they did notice a cist that may be bone cancer. I went to a specialist, and he doesn’t think it is but I will have to have surgery for the final determination. At that time I knew I had done the right thing for ds and myself. Live today and cherish every piece of it. No one can take the memories from you. Life is precious. Let’s make the most of the time we have here.

My neighbor just told us tonight he was jealous of us because we go on all these vacation and he didnt when he was younger and could enjoy it!!!! You made wonderful memoeries with your son that he will have forever!!!!

This is the weekend we start throwing stuff in the suitcases as we think of it. You know, hey, we need our pins, oh and sunscreen, floats, fe's...... Clothes will be last. After the full moon this week , you know what that means when you work in healthcare, I am so ready! What weirdness!

Gotta get that final done so I can try out the digital scrapbooking! We are done at work at noon. Yippee!!

I understand I should have my docs possibly on Monday, too bad I don't have them to pour over this weekend, but at least I know they are on their way. Hope everyone has a really good weekend..........
