Special 9/1/08 Cruise Continued - Part 3

We are almost ready to leave for this wonderful Magical cruise! Just dropped the pups off at the breeder (our 10 yo female, Cera, is sick But her paws are in the best hands I don't know how we are going to fit everything in the car----I packed and unpacked the suitcases---taking out things I think we'll need for WDW after the cruise-----to leave in the car while we cruise. Driving down to VA, overnight with the in-laws, overnighting in Savannah tomorrow then enjoying St. Augustine on Sunday. Looking forward to meeting up with the Radisson cruisers Sunday evening!

I showed off my FE and official lanyard/name badge (just wait until you guys see them!) at work yesterday and everyone now wants me to make FEs for outside of our cubicles! I am sooooo ready for this cruise!!!!!!!!!!!! I just hope I didn't forget anything! Off to water the plants! Safe travels for everyone! See you all on Monday! I REFUSE to worry about hurricanes---something completely out of my control.

Water meters, been doing it for the past 29+ years.........

I have been in the electric and gas metering business for 26 years. Times and technolgy sure have changed. I used to be a meter reader, then went to the technolgy side as a supervisor and now supervise meter readers and the guys who service the meters. Love it and feel very sure I will have a job until I am ready to retire.

We fly out Sunday morning and are heading over to the port to spend the night at the Residence Inn. Grand Floridian after the cruise for a couple of days.

I'm guessing you'll be flying out of BWI? We'll be going out of Dulles first thing Sunday am, then down to AKV for the night. I just hope everyone is well and travels safely.

Just got home from the office and need to finish a little packing. We leave bright and early tomorrow morning on Southwest and stay at OKW for the next two nights, then onto the Magical ship.

Allen & I are leaving for the airport in 3 hours and we're not packed How come no matter how early we start packing for a trip we still seem to be running around at the last minute and either leave barely with enough time or are actually late? I'm even still have a load of laundry in the washing machine.

Hi all,

Packing now. Can't believe it's here. When I left work yesterday, the Chairman of my department (at a hospital), gave me $100.00 and said go have a great time!!!! I was shocked and very touched at the very gracious gesture. I work at a wonderful place.

Still a little nervous about this. TS Hanna looks like it is going to interupt our vacation. Does anyone have an idea where we might sail to if we do not get to Nassau? I know that we will still have fun anyway but really just did n't want to have to endure rough seas and such. Really really was looking forward to our dolphin swim at Atlantis. My DD is going to be very disappointed. Oh well, it is what it is.

Gotta get back to packing!! See ya on board!

Well it's official, we are leaving early! We planned to leave Sunday morning around 8am and driving all the way to PC. But it looks like all hell will be breaking loose on our interstates starting tomorrow afternoon, so we are going to go ahead and leave tomorrow morning. So I get to spend my birthday on the road, probably suffering from road age since I'm so darn stressed about all this!!!!

We are only going as far as Tallahassee tomorrow, and will finish off the drive Sunday. So it looks like instead of arriving late Sunday night we may be there around lunchtime. If we come in really early I think I want to go to downtown Disney and absorb some magic to get me in the mood. My mom wants to go to Casey Anthony's house (which is frighteningly close to PC) and beat her azz.

i am officially on vacation now. I came home from work about 2 hours ago. I am pretty much packed. We will stay club level at an airport hotel tomorrow night and then fly out to Orlando Sunday morning. My thoughts will be with you guys at OKW tomorrow. I can't wait until my first stay at my home resort OKW (first drip home), but that won't be until September 11th.
