Need to renew my Disneyland annual pass this year. Was wondering if it's worth getting a new plastic card or just reuse the old one online. A cool 60th image instead of the standard Donald/Mickey/Goofy would be so neat.
I'll be surprised if they do a 60th. The new ones all seem to be the "forever" cards with no expiration date printed on them...and I think the annual pass type is no longer indicated on the card, either.
I'll be interested in seeing what others have to say, though.
I have a premiere and I recently spoke with a rep at the AP department and was told that they don't give you a new card when you renew anymore. I'm not sure if I begged, if they would, but he didn't indicate the current ones were anything special. Was kinda bummed that I'd be stuck with the current card forever.
I just renewed my pass at Disneyland. I have a premium pass and they check the condition of the card and reused it. Also I was pleasantly surprised that renewing at the park before your card expires gives you a $60.00 discount for this level.
