Elaine, you and your Mom have a safe drive to WDW. How many miles and how long does it take for you to drive there? Can't wait to hear the "scoop" on some of our fellow cruisers. Printing out the list was a great idea. Wow, you know so many!:rotfl:

See you at MK on the 9th.:cool1:

The drive is 1,264 miles each way. We break the drive up over 3 days so we arrive at WDW around noon on day 3. I do all the driving.

Can't wait to see you on the 9th!!!!!

Elaine, you and mom have a safe trip.

And like Peter says, it all isn't true, there is always the 5th amendment.

We love the drive down...we make it part of our vacation...we have our favourite places to stop along the way.

We have flown....but prefer to drive as we aren't the "best" flyers.

Got a question, cruise guru's. We are planning on flying in the day before the cruise. Even renting a mini van with 6 will be tight. Considering using a transportation company instead of renting a car. Anyone have an insight. We have always rented and parked at the port but with so many of us, I am not sure we can get a vehicle big enough and that isn't the equivalent price of my cruise fare!

What do you expert cruisers recommend? Thanks for the advise in advance.

Tracy & Bill...have fun on your cruise :boat:

Sharon....looking forward to meeting you on the 9th!!!!!!

Janis & Ron and Cheryl & Bob.....looking forward to seeing you on Sunday..:yay:

Bob & Lee....congratulations....can't wait to see the pictures.....we will have a Margarita and a cheeseburger in Paradise on the 9th at 4:30 and think of you two

and

Leslie and Joe...can't wait to see you!!!!!

This will probably be my last post for 2 weeks.....I will be "internet - less" at WDW.....unless I can "sneak" a few minutes on Leslie's computer!!!!!

Hey everyone!
Just catching up on what is going on. My family and I are going to be going sailing the Magic in 3 weeks and am looking forward to get my berrings before next year.
Hope everyone enjoys their trips, looking forward to talking more after I get back.
Becky

I was just wondering, how many of you have 5 year olds that will be on this cruise? I just wanted to get an idea of how many new friends my DS will get to make.

Besides it will be good practice for him to meet new people and then when he gets back, go to kindergarten and meet a whole class of new kids that have been in school for 3 days already.

That’s right, my DS will never get perfect attendance…

Well, my dd will be 7 by this cruise.. and in 2nd grade in Sept 2008.
So not that far off from your son...

We rented an 8 passenger cargo type van!
Worked out fine,
We also have used happy limo.

In our school district, you're not officially absent if you haven't started school. I have friends who actually go on vacation right before the start of school then bring their kids in a few days late. They're never considered absent if they weren't there the first day. :rotfl:

Hopefully my nephews and their parents will be joining us on this cruise. If so, we'll have a 5 year old boy in our group! :thumbsup2

We also used Happy Limo last year when we cruised. We had 10 people in our party and a ton of bags. They picked us up from two different Disney resorts. The driver was on time and very nice. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again! :thumbsup2

Somebody got her Halloween costume......

(no, that's not Belle...yet, but it will be on Halloween)

Hope everyone has a great weekend.

Tracy and Bill have a WONDERful cruise.
