My husband (Rob_B) & I will be on the 5 day. We will be celebrating our 8 year wedding anniversary on Sept 3.

:welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: :welcome: and congratulations on your anniversary. What a wonderful place to spend it!

For our Honeymoon spent a week in Disney & a 3 day cruise in 2000. I can't wait to go in September......

This thread is MUCH easier to keep up with in comparison to the 15 Night Eastern Repo.:woohoo:

:lmao: I'm so lost on it! I do try to read everyday, but I'm so behind in posting I don't know where to begin! I love the 4/19 meet thread as there's only maybe 8-10 people who post regularly, and not nearly as frequently as this thread!

I gotta step it up here though, as we're getting lots closer to sailing!

Morning everyone.

Just got back from taking Alex to a Rugby match.

I only walked from the car to the front door and it's freezing here.
We live on the east coast and there's nothing between us and the North Pole so at this time of year we get Polar Winds hitting us.

Can't wait for the summer. T:beach:

Good Morning Everyone.
Beautiful weather. I know it is only 15°, but there is not a cloud in the sky.

Wonderful day yesterday. Saw a great game yesterday.

Mackey Arena was so loud. Just like the good old days.
John Feinstein had it on his list of Top Ten Places to Watch a College Game.

WELCOME to all of the new cruisers!

I need to catch up on the thread. I got interrupted yesterday by my four-legged friend. (WALK ME :dogdance: )

yes....I know the pictures are "technically" backwards but I did it so it looked the right way when you looked at your computer screen!!!!!!!!!

...and yes I had to buy the hat afterwards because it was just too KEWL!!!!!

I remembered this post, but forgot to say.......
"ELAINE! YOU CHEATED ON THE MOUSE!"

Kewl hats.

Maisy is home resting, she is on pain med patch..

not for the faint of heart!

not for the faint of heart!

She will be ok.. Thanks everyone!

Was so glad to hear that she was home.
When she had the first ear done, we asked our vet about the ablation and he explained how serious it was.

When Tip went deaf, she seemed to pay more attention to when the cat moved. That way, she knew when something was going on. So it seemed the cat was helping the dog.
I'm sure that Maisey and Cherry will have the same arrangement.

Here are the instructions that I found on another thread and saved on my computer for future reference (my apologies to the poster of these instructions....(credit cannot be given as I did not save the poster's information)....I cannot vouch for these instructions as I have not tried to make a fish extender using them so I hope they work. We will probably be bringing our "original" fish extender along with many fish extender "locks" (zip ties)...so it doesn't go walking...or maybe I could try to talk Mom into making us a new fish extender!!!!!!

FISH EXTENDER INSTRUCTIONS

Make a rectangle pattern -- 9" x 30"
Make another rectangle pattern for pockets 9" x 6" - cut 4 sets (double - right sides together)

Put right sides together and cut one out double for front/back.

Cut a piece of felt that is 1" shorter than the pattern -- this will be your interfacing.

Cut out 4 pockets (doubled)

With right sides together, stitch top and bottom of each pocket. Turn and press flat.

Baste the felt to the wrong side of one of the pattern pieces.

Pin pockets to front of the fish extender that you just basted, matching edges.

Baste pockets along the sides.

Sew bottom of each pocket to the front of fish extender. I used a decorative stitch. You could also use some type of ribbon or bias tape.

Pin back of fish extender to front with right sides together.

Stitch using 3/8" seam allowance leaving about a 3 to 4 inch section unstitched to turn the fish extender right side out.

Trim corners and turn right side out.

Iron flat and stitch the unstitched section closed.

At the top of the fish extender, turn down to make a casing to put a wooden dowel rod.

Decorate your pockets . . . depending on how you're going to decorate your pockets . . . either decorate them before you baste them to the front of the fish extender or after the fish extender is totally sewn.
Every time I read the word 'fish extender' I have to think thanks to Debbie or EpcotKilterFan. She was the one responsible for the whole thing. She gave these out on the Panama westbound cruise.
