Cathy..go ahead..pick up a grass skirt for your hubby at the local party store and pack it. I bet he will wear it when he sees how many men will have them on, lol. The guys really have a great time with the Grass Skirt Fraternity..and us gals love watching all the action. The other guests on the ship love it as well, I don't know how many times my hubby got stopped and people asked if they could take photos with him..just a lot of fun.

I think nordicskidoodle is who you are talking about..with a DS daughter as well??

Hi! I've been lurking on and off on this thread since we got back from our 3 day at the end of May. It has taken THAT long to get through all of the posts. This seems like such a great group of people and I'm really happy that there are so many of you out there!

The 3 day was our "test" cruise and while on board we booked this one. It will be 4 of us...Cathy-me, Ray DH and two DD. DD#1 Sara is 13 and has Downs (the reason for our "test" cruise) , DD#2 Hope is 10. They will be 14 and 11 at the time of the cruise. I'm not sure who it is but someone else out there posted that their DD is also 13 with DS and had great treatment on the ship. I'm glad to say that DD was also treated amazingly well.

We're in cabin 8014 and would be more than willing to be on the tour but I don't have enough posts to PM anyone. While I'm at it, sign us up for the jammie breakfast.

This time around we have late dining. It seemed as if we had to do too much rushing around to get to dinner on time. It was hard to get the girls out of the pool.

I'd really love to sign up my DH for the grass skirt meet but I don't think I'll have much luck with a grass skirt. I may have to smuggle it in and "surprise" him with it on deck. Getting him to leave the cabin in his jammies may just push him over the edge!

Looking forward to getting to know all of you before and on the cruise!

I was trying to figure out why there were so many posts and with 15 months to go yet. The Med Cruise was terrific, great weather and wonderful Disboard friends. It was a once-in-a-lifetime trip. Service, food, entertainment and excursions were great. One day in many of the cities is not enough but you definitely received a sample platter of Europe.

My name is John and my wife's name is Alison. We have been married for 16 years and we are in our early forties. We have been blessed with two wonderful daughters (12 & 8 years old). We are in cabin 2105 and have Main Seating. This will be our 6th Disney cruise (most in Sept & Oct).

Cabin number 80? I haven't seen that one listed anywhere before! What deck is it on? Does anyone have a link to a stateroom report for this cabin?

Could it be possible that its one of the ones whose floor is the glass bottom of the Magic? I really want one of those rooms. Someone told me that sometimes you can see dolphins swimming just inches below your bed.

Cabin 80 is the trunk in a crew member's quarter's. I get a employee discount and only have to work 12 hour days. I will be working in the laundry department with my nametag: Kaiser from Bulgaria.
