thanks for the welcome!!!

I am looking forward to this short cruise with a visit to WDW before school starts. It should be the perfect combo.

Hi Sharon!! I'm so glad you guys are coming!! I can't wait to see you again. We'll have to link up for dining, unless you guys don't do that :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

I may have news for you if Peter gets me the info I need so I can make it official :goodvibes :goodvibes

No worries DEB is a member here.
She is also going on the First Med 11 night sailing...

Yes, I admit it (standing up and looking sheepishly around the room). My name is Deb Wills and I am a Cruise Junkie, LOL.

I'm very much looking forward to several upcoming cruises including the First Med cruise!

Regarding the 5 night September cruise....
If anyone has been on the MouseFest cruise, you know that its tons of fun and there are close to 300 persons onboard.

Steve and I decided a smaller group cruise would allow us to spend more time with our fellow group cruisers and enable us to offer some extra special events/meets that we couldn't do with larger numbers. Hence, the idea of this cruise. As someone had posted, we did originally plan to make this a 7 night cruise in September, however Disney decided to drydock the Magic for most of the month. When we saw this special itinerary we thought it was perfect.

I look forward to meeting many of you during the upcoming cruise season :)

Deb
Sailed DCL 15 (?) Times (I'm losing count LOL)
1 Celebrity to Alaska
1 Royal Caribbean
1 Carnival (blech)

there are several others that you know of that will be crusiing?

let's start a campaign to get them to post. let them know they are missing the party ;)

this will be fun. We had a pretty large group on the December cruise - you always found someone on the ship that was a DIS geek.

This is going to be a "happening" cruise! It just keeps getting better and better! :thumbsup2

Hi Deb! I am so excited that this is your & Steve's group cruise - I can't wait to meet you in person! pirate: (I didn't make it to last year's Mousefest :guilty: , but I sure hope to this year.) This is going to be one fun cruise. :cool1: :goodvibes

Can we all do a little introduction of ourselves..for those of us who don't know each other...??

I'm Tammy 37 married to Angus 45. We'll be traveling with two children Caroline aged 10 ( now ) and Tim 15. I work in Labor and Delivery in a high risk unit at the Medical University of SC. My husband is a marine patrol officer. We live in Mt Pleasant so we're always only 15 minutes from a beach. Besides the husband and kids and job, I do greyhound rescue, I love going to the gym and scuba diving is my favorite hobby. I hope eventually to retire from the medical field, buy a dive shop and run it with my husband. I'm really hoping to eventually get out of the grind. I'm not too fancy, I don't own a pair of panty hose or black shoes for that matter. ( Hubby and I were play arguing about me buying "real" shoes for this cruise). I'm a flip flop girl. I love my family ( Including my sister - the op who is my best friend ) my dogs and every minute I get to spend below sea level.

Now tell me about you.

Ok.. here goes... Jenn (36) and Peter (40)
I am a dental hygienist, he is a land surveyor. We live just north of Boston. Two beautiful cocker spaniels are our babies, Maisy and Cherry. We have cruised Disney several times, and have lots of Dis friends!

Dody and I cruised together on the Dec. double dip. I am definitely a cruise novice and hope to perfect my skills on this cruise ;)

It will be DH, DS 7, DD 7 and me. There is some possibility that MIL may join us but she is 85 and I don't want to book it for her this far out.

:woohoo: :woohoo: Elaine, I'm glad you guys booked this one. Are you going to do REAS again? I decided against it since it's a shorter cruise but I'm trying to figure out something special to do since sept. 2008 is DH and I's 15th anniversary.

Dody and I are going to be the Rainforest girls on this cruise - right Dody?

I plan on getting my monies worth this time - last time I only went twice. Now I have my priorities straight. Wasn't that excited by the food - would rather drink tea in the rainforest.

I only went once last time... I wish I had gotten the opportunity to go more often but we were always running around doing something else.

This time I'm just going to buy the pass on a daily basis.

Can we all do a little introduction of ourselves..for those of us who don't know each other...??

I'm Dody, 34. I'm a stay at home mom. DH is Sam, 33. I believe his job title is Senior Business Systems Analyst? But basically he's a programmer for a large bank.

We have 2 kids, DD, Ashley is 12 and DS, Ethan is 10.

Great idea, Tammy. Listing our deck or room # and which dining seating time would be good too.

We're From Colorado. I'm Sharon (over 21:) ) and my husband, Allen (40ish). We also have 3 boys ages 14, 14, & 13, but we are leaving them home for this cruise. :woohoo: Allen is a computer nerd and I am a sahm. Allen is not so much into "Disney" as the rest of us but he thorougly enjoyed our first Disney Cruise with the boys last October. We really enjoy camping and would like to someday stay at Fort Wilderness in our pop-up. I love to shop and it doesn't matter if it's Thrift shops, garage sales, or the Mall.:rotfl:

Can't wait for this cruise - Looks like we're going to have a great time.party:

We'll be on deck 6, room #6594
Late dining, requested LAP rotation

Hi I am Kristen(33). I have 2 children Katherine 3 and Nolan 4 months. I used to be a Special Education teacher but I am currently a stay at home mom. My obsessions are disney and travel. My husband is Tim(34) and he is a Branch Manager for a door and hardware company. We are going on the Wonder in May for our 10 year anniversary and I cannot wait. My mom and dad will also be joining us on this trip. We have early seating. We do not know our stateroom yet! :goodvibes :goodvibes

My name is Justine and I'm 26 and a SAHM to Madison (turns 3 this month) and Henry (6 months). My husband's name is Joey (he's also 26) and he's an anesthesiologist. He is the reason our vacation is not yet definite as he's switching hospitals in July so we have to wait till then to be sure that taking his vacation that week will be okay.

Someone on the cruise meet thread for my 2/17/07 cruise started an excel spreadsheet with everyone's info (names, kids, cabin #s, seating, etc.) and then emailed it to us all this week. I'd be willing to do that for our cruise, with the caveat that if we end up not being able to sail that someone else take it over (we'll be booking on 2/17 but will know 100% in July, I think). I think it would be too depressing to keep the list up if I can't go!!

I started the list with the info that is posted in the thread so far. Either post the info here in the thread or send me a PM. Basically I thought DIS name, first names, age (at the time of the cruise), dining time, stateroom #, and homestate was good info to begin with. If anyone has anything else we should add, let me know. I'll email the list around if you PM me your email address and hopefully that will help everyone get to know each other a bit.
