special 10 night cruise 12/18

We got home from the cruise yesterday, We were in florida visiting people after the cruise. It was a wonderful cruise. Very winy most nights and the roughest seas we had were the last night. Unforturnately the castwaycay family beach lagoon was closed because the next broke in a storm and 2 sharks got in. The day was just overcast and cool. Thankfully the rest of the cruise was great. We had 2 formals and 1 semi-formal. Lots of great new menus also. It was so fun being onboard for christmas. The cruise didnt feel like 10 nigbts at all. It went so fast. We rebooked the 10 night for 2006! Lots of people did onboard. If anyone has questions let me know. I will be posting pictures soon

Also a great expearience on the cruise was my friend the DCL President invited me to the bridge when leaving Castaway Cay. They let us press the green button for the mickey horn. It was incredible. Christy Carlson Romano was up there to and it was nice talking to her and her family. All very nice people. The cruise will be remembered for a life time!!!!

Wow, that sounds awesome. I can't believe you got to push the horn and talk to Kim Possible, Christy. My children will think that is so cool!
I can't wait to see your pics. Did sharks really get into CC? Ugh! I hope it doesn't take long to get the nets fixed.

From what I was told there were 2 farely big sharks in the lagoon. They wouldnt let anyone in and couldnt fix the next until they scared the sharks out. I dont know if they ever got them out or not. Some people said they saw the sharks. It was so awesome they he let me do that. I didnt expect I would be up there while we sailed away, figured quick tour and thats it. But he treated me so well on the cruise. I am very glad to know him and we plan on keeping in touch as we did before by email.

I was hoping you'd come find me. What room were you guys in? Just of out curiousity, what room was the Pres in? Did you see where Christy's room was?

Sorry we missed you on the bridge on Castaway Cay. We were invited up there too, but we had an excursion planned (which got cancelled) and then we just didn't come back from the island in time to go to the bridge. Wish I would have now....at least I would have gotten to finally meet you.

I don't think any of us do yet.....half of us got colds and are recuperating, the other half are just flat-out trying to recover from too much fun.

Check the 10-day thread on the cruise meets board. When someone gets the Navigators posted, they'll let everyone know over there.

I am sorry we missed each other to. If just seemed like time went by so fast. We were in 7537. The president was in 7084 and I think Christy was in the Roy Suite but cant be certain. We rebooked onboard and cant wait until we do the next 10 night cruise. It sure was unforturnate the weather stunk on Castaway Cay. We were lucky that the rest of the trip was good. We sure enjoyed the cruise though a lot and cant wait to go back. Hopefully maybe we will have the chance to meet sometime on another cruise. I think the greatest part of the trip was the Bridge expearience. Hopefully everyone is doing well and getting some rest before heading back to school and work. Happy New Year
