Speaking of Perks--Got a Survey....

in the mail. The first 20 or so questions asked about my vacation style--where I stay, how often I stay, when I book, my experience with MS, MS accounting etc. Then came the second half of the questioning. Most, if not all, were pertaining to perks. Which did I use, etc. I used them all, of course.

Valet parking was a question and yes, I use it. Interesting timing if you ask me.

My survey came in the snail mail Saturday. We just did a add on at SSR. Not sure if that had anything to do with it.

We got the url/password to a survey in the snail mail yesterday. Haven't looked at it yet, but I have the feeling it's the same one.

Valet parking was a question and yes, I use it. Interesting timing if you ask me.

"Interesting" is right....they want your opinion immediately AFTER they've implemented the change. What good does it do to ask us about something after it's already been changed or removed?

So, I just took my survey, and it was at least a little different than yours. It only asked a little about perks and nothing about valet parking in particular. It was a really long and wide-ranging survey about all sorts of aspects of my DVC usage and satisfaction.

Mine was waiting for me when I got home Sunday. Nothing about valet parking. Lots of questions about Perks, Exchanging Points, Member Services...stuff like that.

Whatever you do don't answer positively to anything or they will increase the price.

We got one in the mail a couple of days ago too. Just completed it, and there was an entire section devoted to what member benefits/discounts were important to me. Valet parking wasn't on there, but I checked that they were *all* important just in case DVC is trying to make more cuts. I also noticed that The DIS got a shout-out on the survey.

I got the survey as well. A lot of questions about trading out points which is something that we are not interested especially since we have a small contract. Most of the "perks" that were listed, were to things orplaces that DW and I do not partake in. The dining discount is negligible because IMO it does not cover as many restaurants to make it worthwhile. Of course I leave it open that I have missed out on something but what I have seen of it, the ones listed are not useful to us

We got the same survey on Friday of last week. I found it interesting the questions about the banking and RCI conversion of points. I am sure since there were so many questions about that they are thinking of some sort of change. The ones about the DVC site were interesting too. After I stopped laughing I did not rate them very well. I just wish we had known about the valet parking before I filled mine out.

If I recall, Allears, Mousesavers, and WDWinfo, were all on there. The question asked what Disney websites I visited frequently, and I just thought it was cool that The DIS (as well as some of the other non-Disney owned) sites were on there.
