Speaking of kids.. How old where you when you had your first??

24 for my first, 27 for my second and 44 for my third.

Our first DD was born when I was 19, DH was 20. While we were both young, she was my saving grace! DH was in the military and we were over a thousand miles from home and knew no one. She kept me from going crazy! Our second DD was born when I was 26 and DH was 27. She was born 6 1/2 wks early due to complications so we decided to stop there. Well, DH also said he couldn't run the risk of more females in the house since he is the only male! Neither of our girls had "planned" arrivals. DH's favorite saying is "Man plans, God laughs. So why plan just go with it!" We've been "going with it" for over 15 years now and it's great!

I was 4 months shy of my 26th birthday.

1st DD 23
2nd DD 25
DS 27
3rd DD 29

I wanted to finish having all my children by age 30. I will be 46 when my first grandchild is born in February.
princess: or pirate: ?

WOW! My life is very similar to yours...

Married at 18, 1st at 20, 2nd at 23, and 3rd at 27!

We are celebrating our 13th anniversary next week!

And would you believe we planned it all! No surprises. Hubby & I want to be young while we enjoy retirement and grand babies!

 I cant exactly say that all were planned... at least not by BOTH of us. Our third child was my idea. Took my wife by surprised. She still says she knows the exact moment she got pregnant with her. I remember the moment because she hit me right after...LOL. We laugh about it all the time now.

We both wanted our children young. Looking forward to being young grandparents. If things go right for me I will retire at 46. Just as my last graduates from High School. ::yes::

Married at 20
first baby at 23
second baby at 24 (don`t waste much time huh ;) )
Been married 15 years ( but together for 20 )
1 happy family :D :D :D
You do the maths:p :p :p all...

I had my first daughter 1 week shy of my 18th birthday! I was 23 when my son was born and had my last daughter when I was 26.

I started young and DH and I will celebrate our 33rd anniversary in December.

First family:

18 when first daughter was born

22 when second daughter was born

Second family:

32 when first son was born

35 when second son was born

They boys have definately gotten the better deal as far as parenting goes. I should have waited considerably before the first one (and two)!

I had DS #1 at 29 and DS #2 2 days before my 32nd birthday. We are trying for number 3 so I will either be 35 or 36 depending on how that all works out.

I was 25 when I had my first. He was an oops. A happy oops though.

I got married at 22, almost 23.

#2 was planned and I was 29 when he was born.

#3 was planned and I will be 32 when s/he makes his/her appearance in March. I told DH I wanted it that way, because for some reason I don't want to be older than 50 when my last kid is in high school. I said if it doesn't happen in the next couple months, forget it. And it happened the first try.

:D

I was 27 and DH was 27 when our first daughter was born.

:sunny:

I'm 33 and I had my first Disney baby on June 25th of this year! Waiting was right for us - we enjoyed our alone time, and many Disney trips as a couple. Now we can't wait to bring our son to meet Mickey - we're thinking of going back when he's 2!

I was 29 with my first, and 30 with my second!

We married when I was 21 and DH was 22.

I was 26 and DH was 27 when we had our DS.
We are expecting #2 now and I will be 29 and DH will be 30. :)

I was glad we had those few years before kids but I love having kids at my current age. I still feel young enough and can keep up pretty well with my 2 y/o. ;)

Married for the second time at 26 and waited to be sure this marriage would work out, so...

First and only baby 5 weeks shy of 44. DH 7 weeks shy of 46.

The best part is passing for 5-10 years younger because nobody believes you have your first in your 40's!

My Mom had me at 30 and my Dad was 36... soo..

I had my first, Devin at 30 (he passed away 3 days later) and had Michael at 36.

No more for me!
