Speaking of bras

Lilyette makes some cute ones up to the more well endowed sizes. I'm a DDD, who was relieved when she put on some muscle and went from a 34 to a 36 band size. :rotfl: Much easier to find a 36 or 38 DDD than a 34 DDD. It's just a matter of hunting--I was outlet shopping with a girlfriend a few weeks ago, she was amazed how quickly I found 4 bras in my "uncommon" size. Bali also makes some cute ones into a DDD and Maidenform makes a DD standard on most of their bras. The only issue is most of the Maidenform's are demi-cups. DD in a demi can be :scared1:

I've gone through fit training a 36-C is no where close to a 34-D or a 32-DD. Wearing the wrong size will actually make you look heavier. I realized that after my last fitting, I went up to the right cup size and I instantly dropped 15 pounds.

same with size 11 hockey skates! hehehehehee

Mikeeee

You're silly.

well I recently got "fitted" at Nordstrom and they agve me 3 different sizes and when the bra was too big and loose on the top, she told me I just wasn't as full on top ?? WTH ?? The cup should fit you all the way, loose anywhere means it doesn't fit !! Even I know that and I have not been "trained". Because of her, I did not buy any of the cute ones in my right size I saw on the sale rack. I really do have to get back there !!

I hear you. 34D is my preferred size, and it's almost impossible to find. When you do find it, it's rarely an attractive piece of clothing.

Dresses, too, are an issue. They don't make size 6 waists that fit D sized tops.

I got fed up with poorly fitting bras and went to Intimacy, a local lingerie shop that has special sizes and expert fitters. I've been very pleased with finally having a bra that fits!

did you know that that a 32 DD and a 34 D are basically the same size. I found this out when I couldnt find a bra in my normal size for some outfit. So using the formula a 36 C should be close to your size, and may be easier to find? WOuldnt hurt to try

Not true. I am a 34D but I could never get by with 36C. We're talking serious "overflow" and a band that woudn't stay put.
FWIW, I order all mine from JC Penny online.

What did you do to put on muscle? I've lost weight recently, and found that I've lost back fat but the girls are still the same size.

I'm in the same boat. I'm a 32DD to a 34DD depending on the bra and I can hardly ever find bras that actually fit. I think I might go to a lingerie store about an hour from here that I have heard raves about just to see what they might have for me

I have the opposite problem - large ribcage small bust. I'm around a 42A - which isn't available in any store I've found. I've tried going band size and up in cup - I have room left over for a sock (or tissues) :lmao:

I even have problems buying tops. Why do people assume that overweight women have large "girls"? :confused3 All the v-necked tops go back "the girls" and shows my bra (and nearly my belly button).

Lifting heavy things all day at work. I'm also extremely posture conscious, that makes a huge difference.

I'm actually a 33. Rather not state my cup size. Try to find bras for that size!!! No wonder I hate bras.
