Anyone know if they're allowed? I searched and didn't come up with much, besides them possibly setting brides on fire. :rotfl: (Not funny if it really happens.)

Thanks!

don't know - they like to kept fires to ones they start.:lmao:

you might need to call them - just don't know who to call - the fire marshall or the Polyn manager.

might start with the fire marshall.

I stayed at the Poly the week of July 4th in 2006. We opted to watch the fireworks from the beach instead of dealing with the crowds in the park. There was a family that had sparklers and a number of lifeguards and CM came over and asked them to put them out... it was sort of like they came out of the sky all at once, so I don't think they approve of them.

You can always call to double-check before you go.

From http://www.fireworks.com/fireworks_laws/laws_florida.asp

Specifically Permitted

Devices approved and listed by State Fire Marshal which emit a shower of sparks upon burning, do not contain any explosive compounds, do not detonate or explode, are hand held or ground based, cannot propel themselves through the air, and that contain not more than 100 grams of the chemical compound that produces sparks upon burning. Any device that is not included in the list of approved items is prohibited, except that snakes, small smoke devices, trick noisemakers and certain other novelties may be sold at all other times.

You are safe. At least Disney World isn't in Georgia. We got nothin'.

Even if sparklers are allowed under FL state law, WDW is private property and they can still prohibit their use. From bucky's post, it sounds like WDW does not allow sparklers. You can always call the Poly, or send an e-mail to guest relations to get the definitive answer.

OK, I called. The answer is no. The lady at the front desk said the only people that carry "fireworks" is security. :lmao:

There goes my idea for an awesome picture. C'est la vie.
