The Oceaneer Bands currently unlock the following:
– A Disney Cruise Ship vehicle for the 3.0 characters to ride in.
– The Walt & Mickey statue that the regular Disney World theme park MagicBands unlock.
– Costumes or little Cruise Characters:
– Cruise Captain Mickey
– Cruise Director Minnie
– Sailor Donald
– Sailor Goofy
– Sialor Pluto
– Sailor Chip & Dale
– Cruise Ship Door – By walking through this door you can get to a cruise ship interior, that looks like a ship’s atrium. You can then customize it with your very own touch. There are numerous customization choices including things like the chandeliers from the Disney ships.
I don't really think there'd be any way to get personal information off the Oceaneer band, but I didn't know that you had to pay $25 to keep it once you leave the ship, so it makes sense if someone wouldn't want to part with them.
Does anyone know if there is a trick to download the ship? My son got the statue but no cruise stuff. He tried the ocean eer band and wdw band.
when I was watching the debarkation program on the fantasy t.v. cd ray said the magic bands could be turned in but they were yours to keep if you wanted. nothing was said about a cost so I think this may have changed. from the picture they showed they look the same as the magic bands at wdw and there is no cost to keep them there.
since I do not have young children I can't say for sure.
Does anyone know if the oceaneer bands from the Fantasy will work for the unlocks too or is it just the dream?
thank you for letting me know that. maybe thats why he said 'you can return it or its yours to keep'. its already prepaid for. wonder why they would charge when they are fee at the resorts. is there a difference? they looked the same to me.You are charged $12.95 for the band when you receive it. If you return it at the end of the cruise you will be credited.
