Why can't I eat a dish of spaghetti without wearing it????

I am sitting here with a towel on as a bib even and just got a noodle on my collar.

I swear, when my family gets together and we have spaghetti my sisters and I all have it on the front of our blouses. It must be a family thing. :upsidedow

That would always happen to my Grandma, but she had really big ta tas.:lmao: Mine just ends up in my lap.:guilty: :rotfl:

I suggest wearing a red shirt;)

Sorry Popdaddy, I already ate it. :lmao:

Yeah, big ta tas run in my family too. Really big. :thumbsup2

I cut up my spaghetti into small pieces. That's the only way I can avoid a mess. My problem is eating popcorn at the movies. Why does it always go down the top of my shirt? It's so annoying. There is no way to make it come out the bottom without looking strange.

Even moreso if it meanders into your bra.:lmao:

Blue, I DID cut it up. I tell you pasta has my number.

I hear what you mean about popcorn. I could wear a turtle neck sweater and still have a piece of popcorn fall out of my bra when I take it off. :rotfl2:

The other day, I was boiling some type of handmade Chinese noodles wound and dried into round "bundles." As they cooked, they unbundled and became looooong, looooong strands. It was like cooking a skein of yarn. I realized that I have gotten into the habit of breaking my spaghetti in half before tossing it into the pot to cook.

I know I have probably just offended may Italians with that last statement. :scared1: :scared1: :scared1: But, I don't have to wind my spaghetti around the fork anymore, or chase the loose ends around the plate, or slurp, or as the OP said, wear my spaghetti.

Somehow I didn't think it was really the spaghetti PD was hoping to see. :rolleyes1

It's like Murphy's Law, only it's Popcorn at the Movie Law. popcorn::

I was with my DS#1 at a movie once, reached "in" to remove an offending piece of popcorn and looked up to see him looking at me. I offered it to him and he nearly crawled under his seat. He had to be about 9 or so. I still laugh about that. My poor kids have a loon for a mom.

A year or two ago I got some cloth lobster bibs at Christmas Tree Shop(If you live in the NE you know the stores). They are fantastic. I keep one in the car so I do not spill coffee on me and one at home so I can eat WHATEVER without getting it on me. I do not know WHY I spill food on myself but I do. One embarrassing experience with the bib, it has velcro on it and I had it in the side pocket of my door. I had on a coat sweater and one day when I was in costco I look down and yep you guessed it, the bib was stuck to my sweater!

I suggest you try and get one ....saves all my clothes b/c I am so picky about what I wear except when it comes to lobster bibs.

It happened to me today at the movies. It drives me crazy, so I have to shake my shirt to get it out. My husband glanced over at me, but said nothing. Maybe he thought I was coming on to him.:lmao:

::yes:: Yep, it's "Popcorn down the shirt while dating someone NEW Law," too. They don't know whether you're inviting them to help you find the popcorn or to take off the bra. :rolleyes1
