I love it, too! I really enjoy the educational aspect and it's SO nice to get inside a cool seated ride quickly!

I LOVE Spaceship Earth! It is actually my very favorite attraction at Walt Disney World. I remember riding it on my 2nd trip to WDW when I was 8 and thinking it was so cool. I have loved it ever since.

Cali, I believe that MAC3 is referring to the rumor that Spaceship Earth's sponsorship will be picked up by Microsoft and that it will be changed into a thrill ride called Spaceship Earth: Time Racers. It is my understanding from various rumor officianados that this rumor is not at all likely to happen. I believe it was supposed to be a part of the rumored major redoing of Epcot nicknamed Project Gemini, but it is my understanding that this part of the project has been scrapped. I believe that Spaceship Earth has proven to be a more popular attraction than was thought at the beginning of this rumor. Of course, both sides of the debate are just rumors at this point.

SE holds a special place in my heart....it was the first thing we went on at Disneyworld, and our then 6th grade daughter, who had tremendous problems with reading comprehension, actually came off the ride having loved it AND learned something!


I love the ride but I liked it better when Walter Cronkite did the narration.

I love it. What my family is going to do staying at the Dolphin, so close to it, who knows. My DD who was 4 the last time we went, made us ride it 10 times the last time we were there.
