I'm sad...I was hoping we'd get one last ride on it when we're there in late June. Missed it by a month. And with my luck, our next trip will be June 2022 and it will re-open in July.

After that ridiculous FP issue at the beginning of the month at HS over MFSR that resulted in me getting a FP for SR and ST and an any ride one (with exception of MMRR, SDD and RotR), I was also able to then get three more. So I used them for Epcot's Soarin', Mission Space and Spaceship Earth. I'm really glad knowing this that I did frankly.

I'm probably in the minority here, but I'm all for a significant refurb of this ride. We rode it a couple of years ago and it just didn't have the same magic as I remembered as a kid. Super excited for some new scenes and a better descent experience.

If they are in the area and/or have jobs that allow them to take off to do it (or no plans for the time they do have off - like Spring Break) AND have the money for a last-minute trip.

Looks like my birthday trip may be a 2-park trip (MK and AK) unless Remy‘s Adventure is open by mid-July.

Im not a fan of the gut job they did to the descent part of the ride and the addition of the silly (sorry) video. Because of that, I’m okay with whatever is coming.

Also happy we get one last ride before it goes down.

Im with you. Last refurb was for the 25th anniversary of epcot

I am 100% in agreement with you. After being stuck on it for 45 minutes our last trip, I’d love to see any sort of upgrade

When we first rode Spaceship Earth in 1991, Walter Cronkite was the narrator. When they changed narrators I never thought it was as good. I wonder how long it will be down. Our next visit is planned for late February next year. I hope it will be done by then.

I love Dame Judi Dench but I’ve always thought that her Spaceship Earth narration sounds a bit too smug.

My fondest memories are of Jeremy Irons
