Spaceship Earth Review

We were able to preview Spaceship Earth on Saturday around noon. It was the longest wait of the day at 20 minutes!

We didn't mind the new narrator, and the smoother animatronics were really great!

One negative was that the narration is timed differently for each car, and you could hear the one behind and in front of you chattering away at all times. I don't recall that happening on the "old" ride, but maybe it did!

The ride stopped three times while we were on it, for about 30 seconds and two 10 seconds. We didn't mind, we know they are working out the kinks.

The questions section was okay, but while waiting for our "profile" to come up....it kept asking the same 5 questions over and over. I think Disney could come up with enough to not have repeats.

We really enjoyed getting a sneak preview of the ride and look forward to going back again soon to see it when it's completely done.

I got to go on this last week, was very happy with the beginning, it looks great. I do not like the new narration, and am VERY unhappy that the city and epcot ball at the end are both gone, and according to CM's working in the ride, will not be coming back. VERY disappointed in it overall, the end was my favorite part. I think the video screens are silly and not exciting at all.
