Keep delaying please, we arrive on the 23rd Oct. Would cancel any plans to see another launch.

no!!! you've seen one, give us a shot we've been trying for 15years!!
I was so excited when i seen this on nightshift I phoned poor hubby at midnight to tell him! fingers crossed we hit lucky this time, we waited last minute in dec to book flights and still no launch!! fingers crossed!!

Hi all. Just had this email from Viator

Our supplier Florida Dolphin Tours, has advised us that the shuttle launch is
no longer occurring on Oct 10, 2008 and therefore they cannot confirm your
booking. Please accept our sincerest apologies for any inconvenience caused.

The new date for the launch is Nov 16, 2008, please advise if you are able to
amend your booking.


But according to the nasa launch schedule it is down for 14 Oct +

Can anyone recommend a hotel to watch the space shuttle launch on the 14th of October. My DS was very excited to hear that there will be a launch when we are in Florida but all the tickets seem to be sold out. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

It's official: STS-125/Atlantis is now due to lift off on Oct. 14 at 10:19pm EDT. STS-126/Endeavour is now due to lift off Nov. 16 at 7:07pm EST.

They have mixed up two separate launches. You should call and make sure you get what you need for Oct. 14.

The October 14th date won't actually be confirmed until Oct 3rd so it could still change. Trying to time it right to get to a launch is pretty difficult from this length of time away from launch. Here's where I saw the story where there's a link to a video from KSC too.

Hi all. The launch due for the 14 oct has been delayed untill feb 09. Email from viator and the KSC website confirms this delay. Nasa launch schedule says it is under review.
