space quest question- first task

Ok, On the inter space quest the first task is to get 5 points in the space race track. I get on and got 5 cups (these are the points, correct) in fact I got 19 of them, but it told me I failed the task.

if I only have to collect 5 and no more, wouldn't it pop up and tell I passed the task after I collect the 5th one?

Is there a thread with the space answers I can't find one with all the answer in it.

It has nothing to do with that. Go play music or do one of the daily credits or sell an item. I find it easier to buy pin for 25 credit and sell them for 5

Hi,
you need to leave as soon as u get 5 as you are on a timer and if the time runs out you have to start again. same with the next task in the mars room. as soon as u get 10 get off of track.

i finished it and i brung a trick with me:

If you go to the track and it says get 5 or 10 credits, just sell something, it works all the same....

like sell some pins is what I do

You are kidding. I've spent an hour and a half at this.


well now, I know, I can't move from room to room.
The quest is counting time, but I have to start over and I can't move or pop from room to room.

I got 25 the first time and 33 the second time. I got off with time left to spare and still "failed"!! Cat, I feel your pain! rofl!

Yep, I flunked this too the first time I tried lol! I thought I would get the message when I had enough credits. Hop off the track when get your five trophies. Another thing, when vmk is very very slow, like it is now, almost impossible to get enough gas and trophies because the response time to move anywhere on the track is bad.

I've looked on the DIS for a Space thread help with all the answers and can't find one either, just a few threads with an answer or two like this thread. I've looked in Mal's stickies and see all the other quest cheat threads listed but a space quest cheat thread.

Anyone have a link to a thread with all the space/interspace answers? I'm not too proud to say it -- I need help.

Look around amongst everything there. You will see the gem. It is definitely there. You are absolutely looking for a jewel. You can do it!

I feel your pain. I can't get the number of sails on the Columbia right. So I keep having to get the ten points in the mars off road race...over and over and over and over again. ARGH

If any of you come in the mars off road room and see Dashzap saying "###", you'll know how frustrated I am!
