Space Mountain

Left side track is smoother than right side track. Both are rough though :P

Interesting about the sides! Isn't left side usually FP and right side is standby? The only time I remember riding on the right side, recently, was after the ride had been down for a while, and when it came up they were just funneling FP people through both sides to try to deal with the backlog.

I never thought to see if there was a difference. I never noticed one, but it's been a while since I've sat anywhere other than the front seat!

To clarify, I was referring to left side/right side as you come out of the queue into the big room, so as you're facing the back of the building. In recent years I think I remember the left side being standby (because that's the side the standby queue is on) and right side being FP, although sometimes we've been directed from FP queue to go to the left side.

And the only way we were able to detect a difference was because we rode it so many times in a row (in my memory, E-Ticket Nights had fewer guests in attendance than current Disney After Hours does). Maybe by the last ride, our brains were loopy from the experience! :rotfl:

It is very rough. I only ride it once per trip and go ride people mover while my kids ride it a gazillion more times (at rope drop).

Oh, yes, we meant the same thing then. I was thinking of it the opposite way, looking at it as you board. :-)

Me too. Whether I had a FP+ or not, I always ask to ride the left side. It's far less jerky. The right side gives me a headache.
