Space Mountain Question???

Hi,

visiting for 1st time in 10 days!!!! eeeeeeeeee!!!!

DH really doesnt like Space Mountain at WDW as he says its very shaky and jerky, however he LOVES Expedition Everest. Ive read on allears that SM in DL has been refurb'd and is smoother?? Has anyone else done all 3 and can give opinion??

I haven't been on EE but I've been on SM at DL and WDW. Let me reassure you that SM at DL is SO much smoother than the one at WDW. It's a lot of fun and I think your DH will really like it. Even before the big refurb I thought it was a much, much smoother ride. The Matterhorn is pretty jerky though so be prepared.

Agree with LP. I have been on all three many times. You can't compare Space Mtn at DL and MK. DL is so much different. And better. Jerky? It has never occurred to me at DL. It is a very smooth ride. Your hubby needs to try it.

Space Mountain at DL is NOT TO BE MISSED. It is lightyears smoother than the one at WDW.

Plus, you'll be there in time to see the Ghost Galaxy Halloween overlay.

I also think the SM at WDW is shaky and jerky. You'll be pleasantly surprised at the difference between it and DL's version. The DL SM is much smoother and shouldn't be missed. Expedition Everest is one of my favorite rides at WDW too, and I'd say if your DH likes EE, he'll enjoy SM.

Just another confirmation. I can NOT ride SM at WDW. It's painful! At DL it's sooooo smooth and feels much faster. It's great! And, like someone else said, you'll be here for the new Halloween version!!

aawwwhhh thanks everyone!! you can also trust a fellow diser to tell you how it is!!

PS...I have been such an idiot over past 4 years, ive had a lime green ribbon tied round my bottle strap or bag, to identify me as a diser.....only to find out the other day you need a lime green mickey head!...doh!!!.. so if anyone sees a silly scottish person next week with a green ribbon...say hi!!..it'll be be me...short with long dark hair...lookin like a tourist!!
