Does space mountain go upside down? i have just been watching a video of it and there don't seem to be shoulder restraints. We have never done the one in florida but DD and DH have done the one in Paris and think there were restraints on that and it went upside down.

SM in Florida doesnt go upside down. There are lap bars and the riders are three to a vehicle sitting one in front of each other, if you know what I mean.

Hope this helps?

Yes both the ones in Florida and California do not go upside down and are very similar but the one in Disneyland Paris is completely different type of ride.

I much preferred the first two.

The one in Paris, does invert, and it is very very shakey and rough, it kinda boxes your ears. I always exercise my neck for a while before I go on that one.

The one in California is similar to WDW, but you get to ride side by side, more romantic if you ask me.

Cheers Larry.

It took me 13 years and 5 visits until I plucked up the courage to ride SM at WDW - having ridden the one at DLP - and how I regretted not having ridden it before. It is NOTHING like DLP and although it feels fast relly isn't at all.

Nothing to it - believe me - and I'm a real wimp!

If you enjoyed riding Space Mountain at DLP please don't bother queing for the one at WDW unless its walk on - you will be extremely disappointed!

Totally agree. The WDW SM is like a bone shaker not at all nice :(

I love all the Rollercoasters with the exception of Space Mountain. It just isn't at all smooth and I come off with a sore neck and feeling sick.

I now give this one a miss.
