Space Mountain: Clothing Optional - All done and true even if it is April Fool's

 Your given this test a lot when your out and about woman! I don't know girl...I don't know that I would pass this test as well as you did. ;) The knee in the mans throat in Plato's closet might be blurring the lines, (NOT TO SAY I WOULDN'T HAVE DONE THE SAME or be tempted to) but you did good with this one!
Treyner did the right thing. :thumbsup2 Some times it takes walking softly with a big stick....if you happen to be the intimidating stick or he's your son.....Eh! All the better.
Ahhh Yoda...I am learning fast as your young Jedi!
Our first two trips to Disney were MAGICAL!!! :cloud9:

But our third trip, the first week of December, we were shocked at all the rude obnoxious people we either saw or had an encounter with...
I have noticed with all of the discounts there have been many not Disney like people comming becaus it is a good deal. They need handbooks!

You all of some catchy titles for your reports. I'm trying to pick just a few to read but there are so many good ones.
Thanks for reading! I have 2 PTR's and 2 TR's (one being this one) and I am about to start another 2...hopefully tom!
Hey Dawn, I can totally relate to zeroing on other people. I admit it too I people watch and I have susshed my kids so I can get a better earful!

It is a curse. Like hemroids.;) :scared1: :rotfl2:

I just read your whole TR through today. I've laughed and cringed and loved every second of it!! I really enjoy feeling your pride in your kids through your words. :thumbsup2

Thanks. I love them. Wait till I post the next few chapters. They will be a doosey! :worship:

Treyner is a fierce protector of what is right and hates more than anything gossip, busy bodies and bullies.

In 6th grade he got in his only fight in JR high or High School. An 8th grade girl who was overweight had tripped on the stairs and all her papers were sprawled on the landing. An 8th grade popular boy laughed at her and proceeded to purposefully step on her papers, shredding them as he twisted his feet.

Treyner was behind him, told him to stop - the kid told him to screw off and asked him if he was a fatty lover.

Treyner punched him as hard as he could in the stomach and the kid hurled over and was not so big and tough anymore.

The principal called me, told me what happend. I told him he could do what he needed to do there but that Treyner would be getting nothing from me for punishment.

I have always told him to stick up for those who can't stick up for themselves and that girl deserved to know that some people knew right from wrong and if words did not convince the 8th grader, I am glad Treyner knocked him one. That maybe this would show her guys can be decent and she will not have to settle on crappy treatment.

The principal just chuckled at me and Treyner got one day of detention - no suspension.

Oh, Dawn, I love that kid of yours.

Just copied this pic today - you will love it.
Here is a pic of him at age 3 1/2...Carsyn was about 8 months. A friend put it on facebook - we all had kids in college and had to really help each other to graduate. We took this before we all moved on. Treyner is far right with Carsyn on his lap.

Awww what a cute picture. The look on Carsyn's face is priceless. She looks traumatized by the camera or something.

Capter Six: Geetin Ready to Wrassle a Croc!

There were 2 ECV’s that needed to get on. You know that means that you are going to wait a bit to load. That also means you will wait a bit longer to get on the next bus.

At this point, Sheila is back and the whole family is reunited. Dad is still holding Jr.

They are craning their necks to see what is going on. Why it is taking so long to get the bus loaded.

They notice the ECV’s and the fact one rider was obviously mentally handicapped.

At this point I thought the Dad might not need an asse whoopin. :rolleyes1

I was wrong. :sad2:

He proceeds to announce to everyone that the “retards” and fat people who pretend to be handicapped should ride separate transportation so they do not hold up the rest of the normal people.

I literally rolled my neck and felt every bone in it snap. I was ready to rumble.

Treyner held me back.

Literally.

Held me back.

He calmly, tells them they are rude and to watch their mouth.

We were tired and planned a MK not so early morning!

What a bunch of jerks! I would have had a hard time and have had to say something as well. Not that this may have been the case in the line you were in, but I would think that some of the others around that family would have spoke up a bit as well. If he thinks his family is "too good" for the bus system since he was lucky enough to be born without problems, then he can get his rude self onto a taxi and go to hell. :headache: Kind of burns me up to hear people berating others for no good reason.

There was so much commotion that day trying to organize all the kids and then with 3 moms to boot! Seems forever ago...:sad1:

Amen sister! I agree totally!

Hi all...started a PTR for the trip in March. After taxes tonight I will have clear sailing to finish this TR.

The link is at the bottom in my siggie! :)

Read your entire TR yesterday and thoroughly enjoyed it! Can't wait for the rest of it.

That last update was a hoot! It made me literally go "Oh no, oh no no noooo!" out loud when the Dad said what he did about the ECV's! My dad, sitting in the same room as me AND watching figure skating, thought I commented on the skater falling, and he went "Well, it DOES happen, you know." :lmao:

Oh, and even though this probably isn't of any significance, I'd just like to wish you a:

HAPPY 50th PAGE! (Side note: I well know I'm on the 51st page. Bad timing on my part! lol)

:cheer2::dance3::dance3::cheer2:

OMG! I finally think I am caught up on my reading after my Disney trip and now I find out you've started a PTR for YOUR next trip??? I am NEVER going to get caught up now! Oh well, at least I'll have fun being behind!!!

Just stopping by! I just finished reading this report and I'm halfway through the old one.

Love your family and your writing.
On my way to finish the old report and start on the PTR!

Thank you so much for spending the day with my family! I will let you know when we have birthdays so you have plenty of time to send gifts! ;) :rotfl:

Of course we will recriprocate!!! How do you feel about used ghetto vans? :confused3 :lmao:

Unfortunatly, I have no use for a van...ghetto or otherwise...tho I sort of wonder what said van might rake in from ebay after once belonging to the (in)famous Dizney Dawn and fam...:confused3

I actually was thinking of asking whether your crew might be at WDW during the same week this year? We're contimplating a trip the week before Christmas and a visit with your family would all but pack my bags. :thumbsup2 Then we could do Christmas gifts instead of birthdays.

Chapter Seven: No Temper Tantrums allowed!

This particular morning four of us were up and at em fairly early. I might have used the temptation of “Cinnamon Rolls” from MK Bakery as a major motivator! I think we left our room at about 9:30 a.m. and loaded the bus for MK.

Carsyn stayed back to finish her hair and move a bit slower that morning.

Da Boys!
P1030406.jpg

I am wearing Dan’s sweatshirt because I did not pack warm things at all for how cold it was this day!

Now Treyner had not gotten his hair cut since he shaved it off for soccer in July. By November it was not looking good but he did not come home so a girl he was close to in Colorado at school cut his hair with a kitchen scissors because he was too cheap to get it done elsewhere. (Yes, I cut his hair at home so he has gotten used to sweeping hair in exchange for a cut and did not find any salon in Durango to offer the same deal!)

It looked like Edward scissor hands had lopped it off and so he needed a cut. When he was in like 5th grade he had gotten his hair cut at the barber shop at MK and had asked if he could have that privilege again. :goodvibes

Is it weird my heart melted a bit that he at 19 wanted to sit at MK for a hair cut? :confused3

If it is…I will admit it made me sappy a bit and you can suck it Nancy cause most college kids would like to pretend they do not have parents so I feel lucky. So there! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

We walked in and the same guy who had cut his hair then, was working that day and Treyner was the next in line for a cut.

First though, was a kid about 1 ½ getting a first hair cut.

Also trying to break the sound barrier with screams that has me thinking I need a hearing check still, 3 months later!

Now he was not liking it at all.

Not liking it in the chair.

Not liking it being held in the air.

He did not like a man coming at him with something sharp.

I do not think he would have liked it if he could not see the barber in the dark.

The boy was a screamer through and through.

His Mom was a moronskie for not seeing he was yelling so hard…

he was turning blue.

She had her camera wedged to her eye.

Looking through the viewfinder for a smile,

even if it was ever so sly.

But Junior, he was not having fun.

He was acting like Tina getting away from Ike,

on the run.

They tried a sucker.

First green and then red.

They tried a Mader Truck and other souvenirs.

None worked and he just took them and proceeded to hit on his head.

Finally the pain was more than the barber could take.

He said, “Your done!”

With a quick whip of the cape.

Juniors father was more than happy.

He wiped off Juniors snot on his sweatshirt.

Now it looked slimy and crappy.

We did not care.

No not one little bit.

Cause he was not a good little boy.

He was a little sh!t.

I am not kidding and I need to get this rhyming torture from my head because now I feel like friggin Mary Poppins with all these sing song lyrics….. :rotfl:

Alright!!!!!

It’s like a self inflicted ear worm. Ughhhh!

So once Junior Snot was gone, Treyner was motioned to have a seat. The barber asked Treyner if he intended on throwing a scene as well because the last kid nearly took the life out of him and Treyner said, “Maybe.” :rolleyes1

So he was given the sticker treatment as a gentle reminder to zip his lip!
P1030407.jpg

I cracked up at that and some new parents coming through the door that missed the tantrum of the century were high tailing it outta there to avoid tormenting their child.

Me - I wanted more! :cool1:

Dan and Baylor went to the bakery to order food and get us a spot and I waited for Treyner to get done and pay for the cut.

Treyner and the barber were talking in great detail what was the master plan for the hair. :teacher:

They talked about his hair texture and decided a faux hawk would be great.

Later on Treyner told me the barber said, “You have the perfect body for this cut.”

Treyner was hoping he meant the body in his hair and not the body in his clothes because every time Treyner gets his hair cut from a man, it happens to be a gay gentleman and Treyner gets hit on.

I said as long as he was not in a Pluto costume he was fine!!

(Ha!!! See how I linked the first TR to this one! I should write Soap Operas!) :surfweb:

Truly -- an awesome hair cut and I am so glad he got the same guy. We both remembered it and that made it a neat souvenir for this trip for Treyner.

Here are some more photos of the cut and the shop.

My handsome boy after his cut!

P1030418.jpg

Excuse me Dawn, but where is his hair coloring?? That is the best part of the barber Shop haircuts. lol My youngest had her hair cut there on our last trip and loved it. She left with pink and purple hair and a ton of confetti.

His hair does look nice and I loved his sticker treatment. :rotfl2::happytv:

Awwww, how cute he wanted his hair cut at MK Barbershop! You have such good looking and good hearted children. You are one lucky mom.
