Space Mountain: Clothing Optional - All done and true even if it is April Fool's

I check in every single day to see if anything's new. Like a loyal puppy dog! :dog:

I just decided to stop in and mention how I could've SWORN I met Baylor's long lost twin at work today. It kinda freaked me out a little, because he just walked up to the counter, smiled, and plopped down 2 clearance Wii games...BOTH DISNEY! :lmao: This further made me amazed at the coincidences at hand.

"POTC: At World's End" and a High School Musical dance-sorta game...idk...point is, I saw Zac Efron and Vanessa Hudgens on the cover, and I had to keep from laughing. (I think it's the fact that they're JUMPING mid air for no legitimate reason that does me in :upsidedow)

I don't know if he saw me holding back a smile, but all of a sudden, he goes "Don't worry, that Pirates Of The Caribbean game isn't for me..."

THAT made me :rotfl2: on the spot...sure brightened my day. Seemed like a Baylor-type situation to me! :goodvibes

HIGH - STARE - ICALLLLL!!!! :rotfl2:

I hate when I know my anxiety does not equate to the level of urgency I am giving it but esp. after Baylor was hurt and I had a sixth sense to go get him and listened to reason he would be fine (which 99.9% of the time is true I know) and then it wasn't...is a hard thing in your mind to get past.

I hear ya on the anxiety level. I am just afraid some day I won't stress and it will be something bad - I stress over what color undergarments to wear every day (is that "G" enough?:lmao:) so I can't imagine a stress free day in my life! Sorry about "Crotchgate 2010" all I can say is my bad!!:confused3! Now back to the TR.... keep those updates coming!

I'm in enjoying this thread
Sooo Glad and I will have a new post up in about an hour!!
I check in every single day to see if anything's new. Like a loyal puppy dog! :dog:
No that would not be him. He is all about Call of Duty and war games - still saving up his money for an x-box but he has some games already!! Next week he should have enough!
THAT made me :rotfl2: on the spot...sure brightened my day. Seemed like a Baylor-type situation to me! :goodvibes
He would die of embarrasement! He also got his hair all chopped off before Nathan;s funeral so he looks different...I like it a bit longer so we shall see what he does next!
Sorry about "Crotchgate 2010" all I can say is my bad!!:confused3! Now back to the TR.... keep those updates coming!

Will do and at least we are infamous!! :cool2:

Oh no he cut his hair!!:scared1: My oldest dd will be upset. I told her about you guys and showed her his pic. She is into the whole Volcum, skate/surf whatever it is look, so she was really checking him out! She was hoping we could meet someday in Disney! Hey who knows we could be related at some point:rotfl2:! Of course that mall/spa weekend keeps circling around my brain like buzzards ready to attack - oh to make that happen!:rolleyes1

Sorry to hear about your sledding drama - there is ALWAYS something huh!?
I guess I am your #1 co-conspirator :smokin: I always wanted to famous haha!:cool1:

Chapter Six - Dis Meets

When we were done deliberating over Dan’s bean scar being an innie or an outie derivative…we knew it was time soon to head back towards Writer’s Stop to meet up with WIGD and Shannn and their parties for a mini meet! I was excited to see Shannon again and have her meet Baylor as well as meet Anita and her family. We had talked about getting pictures of the two Baylor’s together and Treyner had been non stop asking if Keeley would be with. (Anita’s cutie daughter who is a bout the same age as Treyner!)

We still needed to get our scare faces ready for ToT and decided to see if we could not get that ride done before we booked across the park since we knew the way by heart after our Trip Around DHS for lunch!

This ride is one of my favorites. All time. I like getting the heck scared out of me with thrills like this. The whole part where you shift forward after reaching the 13th floor and see ghostly aberrations freaks me out every time!

Something a bit humorous many do not know is that this ride terrified Treyner until he was in 9th grade. So much so that he refused on most trips to ride it. In Oct of 2005 Treyner and Carsyn were part of a group that danced at Disney and only because he was pressured by the hot girls to ride, did he finally do so. He was not going to be one upped by girls.

Most of the times beforehand he would go ride RNR by himself and wait for us while we stood in line for ToT. Here I had Baylor at 3 years old borrowing Carsyn’s Hello Kitty flip flops to gain height to ride (they were a good 3 inch wedge accross the whole bottom and Baylor and Carsyn wore the same size shoes) and I had his brother 5 year older, refusing to budge! Not that he gets any grief about this any longer :rolleyes1- but let me tell you it was great to hold over his head whenever he complained what a wuss Baylor was about XYZ.

Anyway, we rode and laughed, grabbed some pics quick of our picture

(We are in the back row.)

…and then ran like 5 lactose intolerant people would from a Ben & Jerry’s Buffet. :tiptoe:

I noticed the Sorcerers Hat looked extra special that night and thought I better grab a neat picture incase they remove it someday like I have heard rumors about!

When we first got to Writer’s stop nobody was there and I was wishing I had double checked Wigd’s report to remind myself who I was looking for! :3dglasses

In a few minutes we saw Shannon and her friend Courtney! We introduced everybody and grabbed some pictures.

The kids…I can’t believe how much they have grown up since last year…

Some 2008 pics. Baylor is sooo skinny after his surgeries…(he weighed 98 pounds last winter 2008 and yesterday at the doc he was at 145!)

P1030370.jpg

All of us…with Baylor hanging his mouth open! It is impossible to get one where someone is not being goofy!

Dan looking so cute in the twinkle lights… :lovestruc

At this point there was no Anita and Shannon had let me know since I had been off of a computer for awhile that her family had been battling a flu bug that day! :crazy2: We called her and found out that a few of their party were back at the hotel and a few were eating at 50’s. They had not even ordered yet so we would have to meet up with them later!

The 7 of us jockeyed our way through the crowds to see the display and even though we were going through it backwards from where we had started at…it was still beautiful!

P1030376.jpg

My favorite picture of this year’s lights!

We asked if they wanted to ride Toy Story and they said yes!! So the kids went with them while Dan and I sat outside the ride and just relaxed. It was so nice not being on the run.

After they got off the ride, we decided to see if we could do ToT again with Shannon and Courtney before they had to get to their dinner reservation. We booked across the park again and were able to get one ride done before their meal time.

Shannon was petrified and it was a riot listening to her panic. Evil I know! :stir: She did brave through the ride though and even enjoyed it as it was going. The great part is that this ride is never the same twice in a row and the drop sequences always keep you guessing on what might happen to you and your lunch next!

The picture of all of us in the ride turned out great! We took up the whole back row!

As soon as we were dumped into the store and exit area, Shannon and Courtney needed to get to Brown Derby. So they chucked ahead of us and I sent Treyner to go scare Shannon because I knew she would not be paying attention to who was behind her! She was in focal mode!

So Treyner zig zagged ahead and tapped on her right shoulder and then ducked left as she looked back quickly. Then he tapped her right shoulder and ducked again…finally on the third tap she stopped to clock the PITA person who was annoying her and then I could see she was laughing when she figured out who was poking her!

I was calling Anita and she said to come over to 50’s and meet the crew! We met her at the entrance with Harper and then she said to follow her back!

So in traipse the 5 of us with no reservation and nobody questioned why she had a harem following her back to the tables! In fact they were all the way tucked in the back right of the restaurant!

We met Marc, their Baylor, Keelie and a few of their friends from the Dis! Snapped some more Dis Meet pics and then…let them to eat their delicious looking desserts before we drooled on them!

Us with Anita!

What a fun time! It's odd, I have been reading Wigd's report and yours and now I'm having all these deja vu moments! Did I read that already? Did I see that picture before?
I'm glad you got to meet up with some DIS friends! That's always fun.

You're right! Your kids have changed a lot in a year! They've gotten more grown up and if it's possible, even better loooking! What an attractive family you are!

YAY!!!! :thumbsup2

That was such a great night. Y'all made our night so much fun. I wish we had had more time to hang out another day. (Unfortunately I think y'all were night owls while we were rope drop girls.)

I have to thank y'all for dragging me onto TOT. I never would have done it without the oh-so-subtle peer pressure, and it ended up being one of my all time favorite rides. I loved seeing the whole of the studios lit up out of the window/elevator shaft of death!

Treyner scared me to death when he poked me on the shoulder, and of course he said that YOU wanted him to jump on me! That would have been bad, probably with lots of blood involved! ;)

I could just imagine Barney Fife and his 76 year old deputy assistant busting into the room… :scared: expecting a crime scene and this being the most exciting thing in their 2 year career as Disney security, only to find out Carsyn was snoring and asleep in a tank top and short shorts, oblivious to 729 calls.

:scared1: :lmao: So glad Carsyn was OK; I would have been freaked out, too!

Great updates! I loved the pics of your family with Anita's family!

Denise

Wow the kids really have grown in a year especially Baylor, he seems to have grown about a foot :thumbsup2

Sounds like you had loads of fun meeting everyone and I keep scanning yours and Anita's photos just incase I see me :rotfl:

Ahahahhaha! I was thinking the same thing.....I was like wait....didn't she already meet Shann at the Osborne Lights? No wait...that was on Shann's report....same thing at PT50 with Anita!

p.s. I love TOT too and the only part that freaks me out a bit is when you are going forward and the MH stars disappear and the line appears....love going up first too...you don't expect it :woohoo:

Tracy

haha I loved 50's Prime Time...my brother kept getting told to get his elbows off the table, and he's 39. I love that place. There was even a table next to us that everyone sitting had to be force-fed their veggies. (there were like 6 people sitting).

It was like dinner and a show. :rotfl:

ToT is awesome...glad to see you all loved it! It's one of my favorite rides ever! (apart from RnRC of course ;))

You are so sweet! :cutie:

That night was one of my favorite from the trip for sure!!

:scared1: :lmao: So glad Carsyn was OK; I would have been freaked out, too!

Thanks. I know she can take care of herself but she is still my little girl!
Wow the kids really have grown in a year especially Baylor, he seems to have grown about a foot :thumbsup2
Not quite a foot! He is now 5'9, size 12 shoe and 148 pounds. He has been weight lifting quite a bit and I think Treyner will be getting a run for his money!
Sounds like you had loads of fun meeting everyone and I keep scanning yours and Anita's photos just incase I see me :rotfl:
I know! I wish we would have been able to meet up!:headache:
Hey! This was our table at 50s! :goodvibes They must reserve that table for super awesome people
They did have a neon sign overhead saying..."Only super awesome people can sit here."

It was making the people under the table saying..."YOU SUCK" a bit tense!:lmao:

p.s. I love TOT too!
Tracy
I wish they had a live video feed of the people riding and had it available for others to watch. How many times would non riders or those sadists like me :rolleyes1 watch the heck getting scared out of newbies? :yay::woohoo:
Nope, I was there. :lmao:
:lmao:Hey! We will be there for sure the day of Friday March 19th. Getting in Thursday evening actually the 18th.:cool1:
Hi Dawn! Sorry this is a non-Disney related post but thought you might like this as you have mention....
See I cannot be so wrong if Perez wonders what the heck and he has seen it all! :rotfl2::thumbsup2
haha I loved 50's Prime Time...my brother kept getting told to get his elbows off the table, and he's 39.

We enjoy it there but the waiter/waitress makes a huge difference in your experience for sure!

I will post the rest of DHS today and tom will get MK day done with the reason this TR has that title!!!!!!

Then EPCOT AND HOME!

I want this TR done by Thursday so I can start a PTR for a trip in 2 weeks!!! :scared1:

Yay an update! I'm starting to feel the same way about my TR. We leave in 12 days and I still have 2 days to finish :scared1:

ok, I think I'm caught up.....it would be nice if everyone would suspend their tr's while I'm on vacation!;)

wow! 48 pages! That took a loooooooooong time to read! I have laughed, I have cried, I have had to be quiet while the rest of the house is sleeping! You're a very witty writer. Thanks for sharing your gift. :o) You have a beautiful family and are a smart woman to count life's blessings rather than disappointments. :thumbsup2

Hey! I wanted to share something. While at work this weekend I processed a check that was from Ducktown, TN for Piggly Wiggly... :lmao: It really reminded me of your TR. I can not imagine living in a town that is called Ducktown. I wonder how they named their town???

Edited: Ducktown was named after a Cherokee leader named Chief Duck. (Now I want to know how he got his name....lol)
