Space Mountain: Clothing Optional - All done and true even if it is April Fool's

I thought butt Fu******Egypt was in Pennsylvania, I'm right smack dab in the middle of it ya know. I guess there's more then 1.:confused3

Portacrappers, ahhh, brings back memories... I worked on a farm one summer, my DH was the forman, after yelling at me one too many times about "bruising the tomatoes" (I just know you're going to have some kind of naughty reference to this;)) I'd had enough and when he stepped into the crapperhouse I duct taped him in there.

Just keep me in mind when you get your Hollywood screenplay adaption of your road trip antics and need actresses for it....and not to toot my own horn, but I played a wheeping willow in the 3rd grade play. I got a standing ovation at the end, however Mom said that it wasn't a standing ovation for me, the play was over and everybody was just standing up to leave, whatever..she just needs to steal my thunder, probably because she never got the lead tree role like I did.

:rotfl: Ty, your a frickin nut! I just love your silly antics.

It's not just Indiana, just saying'...:rolleyes1 :rotfl2:

I have never travelled the east coast much so I will have to do a road trip out there and get back to you!;)

After reading your list of food, I wanna take a road trip with you!
Come along! We always have room...at least on the roof rack! :lmao:

Oh....I know the role I want. I want the "bum fu$$$$ Egypt" role. I love that expression! I would make a great townie! Of course, I could always be Carysn, since I am pretty good at giving the evil glares while driving.
My sister who is a SW and usually beyond kind...is the person I love to laugh at while she is driving. We can be on the phone and she is in tears over a client (she works with mentally disabled adults) who was misstreated and then I hear, "You stupid MF! Go ahead, move your skinny balls into my lane! Don't worry about my @ss that's going to run into the guard rail. I am sure I don't matter to you, you piece of sh!t on the bottom of humanity's sewer system. I hope you go home in your BMW and your wife guts you for being horrible in the sack and she is doing your pool man Rico."

Now this is immediately after she is crying, no pause, no collection of thoughts. She just let's go. Then I laugh and tell her the "Anger Management" classes she got for her 30th birthday from me 3 years before are still valid.

She tells me to F off and if people were not such idiots she would have no issues.

Dan thinks she is the next Benny Hill. If she calls and we are together and she is driving, I put it on speaker because all you have to do is wait and you will be laughing.

She drove with to Indiana for that soccer tourney a few years ago and made it the best for the boys! Chicago was awesome! She is so anal that she had researched how many tolls we would go through and how much they were and had each toll in seperate plastic baggies for the sake of ease.

The tolls had changed cost though since her info and it was awesome the amount of vocabulary one can spew over an extra dime! I wish I had it on you tube cause she interrogated each attendant we came up to on why the anount was different and if it is just some willy nilly program they were running.

Like Mike the Toll Dude decided the entire infrastructure and budgeting agenda for Illinois.

Good times. Good Times.

where are the meatballs? I've been waiting all day...
Gone! They are gone...they are Rocco Dispirito's mamma's meatballs and I love them!
Oh my gosh....I read that like 3 TIMES before I realized what you were LOL at!!!!!:lmao:

Umm.....I'll never tell!!:rolleyes1

:rotfl:
Shocker and Dan have ways of making you talk! :scared1:
You know I am already in the planning stages for my October trip - Oct 10-18, 2010!!! Plus, I am saving some money for that 40th Birthday trip you were talking about a few months ago!
We need to get on this! It is 2010 already!
Looks like we'll be there October 13 (my 40th birthday) through October 17. We'll have to plan a meet up for sure! :thumbsup2
Taking notes of time and dates!
Absolutely. This will be an 8 day solo trip for me so my schedule is pretty much my own. I don't even do that many ADR's so I am game to meet you! And anyone else who might be in the world at that time!!!!!
ohhhh...a solo trip...do tell Mel! popcorn::
Yes Im due very soon! We are having a boy, no name completely picked although we like Silas, Henry, and Evan. I figure he'll "tell" me when he gets here! I would love suggestions though! :goodvibes
So you would like a traditional name and are not opposed to something a little older is that right?

Have you considered what kids will come up with or do you wnt to know? I have 2 here who I can give the names you mentioned to and see where it can lead.

Baylor has really only gotten, "Hay Bayler" (sp?) and that is from his family in Iowa who are farming people. I know Silas could get Silo refferences in the right community - Henry and Evan are pretty safe I think - do you like Hank for Henry as a nick name?

With your last name, Barry is out and so is Wally & Woodie! :lmao:

All caught up.

Dawn, honey, honey, why did mapquest take you that route??? I was reading, getting so excited, thinking that you drove right past my house (off of I26) and then I read you are in Marshall! (Just so you know, it's not where Marshall Univ. is--that's WV. Which is a whole different animal. You were in Marshall, NC). Well WTHeck? Swear we were at a gas station and I asked and the old guy said, "You are close to Marshall, like the college town from the movie about the football team." When we drove past,, we saw a college sign and never questioned it! :rotfl2:

Glad I did not make Dan drive through the town and wake up Treyner for a picture like I had suggested! :rotfl:

I wonder if the old dude has a tourist side biz he sells tickets at and sucks in lost travellers who are not able to get their I-phones working and look up info to verify his four tooth tales! :scared1:
.......By the way, the mountain you were sliding down into SC has the most gorgeous view when it is sunny out!
Note to self...choke Who Girl's Mom for great info after the fact..."

I thought butt Fu******Egypt was in Pennsylvania, I'm right smack dab in the middle of it ya know. I guess there's more then 1.:confused3
It's a mobile country that Egypt!
Portacrappers, ahhh, brings back memories... I worked on a farm one summer, my DH was the forman, after yelling at me one too many times about "bruising the tomatoes" (I just know you're going to have some kind of naughty reference to this;))

4.jpg

This debauchery is a bit more than bruising I should say!
I'd had enough and when he stepped into the crapperhouse I duct taped him in there.

portapottypc8.jpg

The aftermath of your DH's struggle for FREEDOOOOOM!!!!! Not quite Mel Gibson but a close runner up!

Just keep me in mind when you get your Hollywood screenplay adaption of your road trip antics and need actresses for it....and not to toot my own horn, but I played a wheeping willow in the 3rd grade play. Baylor used to call Weaping Willows, "Firecracker Trees." The first few time I had no clue what he was talking about at age 3, then he saw one and pointed it out and said , "Firecrackers, like at Disney." Then I got he meant fireworks and I totally loved his imagination!
Mom's can be catty people esp when it comes to money and lead roles! :lmao:
:rotfl: Ty, your a frickin nut! I just love your silly antics.

Me too! Ty, we should get a biz going and take people on personal tours of WDW. We can be the fun group compared to Disney's stuffy version! They will either come back for more or run for the hills! :rotfl:

Absolutely. This will be an 8 day solo trip for me so my schedule is pretty much my own. I don't even do that many ADR's so I am game to meet you! And anyone else who might be in the world at that time!!!!!

I'll be there starting 10/14-- would love to meet you and Shann! :)

Ok, so far for the October meet we have Shannon, Christine, and me!!! Come on people - lets get more of us together down there. Once you guys have your plans all set, we should talk about where and when. My plans will consist of "I think I might go to MK today." I find I am much more laid back now, although I do make an awesome spreadsheet with ALL park hours and EMH, etc just in case I change my mind mid-day!

I live in Maine so I dont think the Silo thing will be an issue...and no to Hank! Just Henry :thumbsup2 We always joke with my MIL that if we had a girl her name would be SNOW of course my love of Disney I might actually do it as a middle name :rotfl:she'd probably hate me for the rest of her life :lmao:

You were near Mars Hill College. ;) Just let me know if you drive down to Anderson again!

Hank may happen from adults or kids at school and you may not have much of a say if he doesn't mind it. My Aunt named her kids Steven, Jeffery and Michael wanting them to always go by their full names and each of them got shortened or nick named at school. So if you hate Hank 100% - just an FYI.

I actually contemplated naming another child Disney if I had a girl for the first name...my ex said no way in H E double hockey sticks! :lmao:

You were near Mars Hill College. ;) Just let me know if you drive down to Anderson again!

We have a good chance of being there in March...I will let ya know for sure!

Looked at renting a conversion van yesterday for spring break...Carsyn may be going to Hawaii with Carly (as in Treyner's ex Carly the housesitter) the week before. Staying ta Carly's uncle and flying dirt cheap but standby since Carly's Dad used to work with an airline and still gets privaleges.

She wanted to then join us on our excursion but the chances are good she won't make it back in time (stand by) and I am not buying a ticket for her when she very well may miss it.

I don't know what to do..so should Dan and I and Baylor fly to Atlanta - meet Treyner and use his Jeep and just go...rent a car from Atlanta that is not so LOUD...or just drive from here...frick n frack...

Conversion Van is nice but 14 miles to the gallon plus rental means it is way more than flying 3 people most of the way...we need to evaluate...

:lmao:She spounds just like my sister Bo, she'll be telling me about one her little old ladies (she works at an asisted living home as a physical therapist) and next thing you know she's going off on somebody, once I thought she was still on the same subject and I'm like "Bo, won't you get fired for talking to your patients that way."

Now would WDW know we were giving tours or would we just sell tickets on e-bay and keep all the profits for ourselves? We would need a gimic, a cool slogan or catch phrase. (that's your department girl) I think we should be selective with our tour groups, have a list of can and can't do's.

1. no muffin tops allowed!
2. If you have a mullet expect 80's refrences geared at you.
3. Please leave your teeth in for the entire tour. (or we will poke fun at your expense)
4. no popping eachothers back zits, if you get bored, just leave! (but you won't get bored, trust us!)

those are just a few things.

2. If you have a mullet expect 80's refrences geared at you. Ohhhh! And spandex shorts...no go Udaho!
3. Please leave your teeth in for the entire tour. (or we will poke fun at your expense) No sharing of teeth either!
4. no popping eachothers back zits, if you get bored, just leave! (but you won't get bored, trust us!) Or scratching your @rse! Or anyone elses @rse either for that matter!

those are just a few things.

I am sorry I did notget the new post up yesterday...needed to help a kid with a history paper in college...he sent me his rough draft and we revised and revised and I made him sit with me on the phone so he got why he needed to revise...Thank Goodness for the internet and thank goodness he can ask for help...

Ya know what though....he likes what he is learning and he even called his Dad to let him know what his paper was on...that is a miracle! :worship:

Hopefully he learns to love learning yet!

Going to go look at a conversion van right away today! Found a great deal so I will let you know if it is as good as promised! :worship::thumbsup2

Hi Dawn!..... You are my last post before I go to bed (although I should say Hi to Cynthia as well). Did you update recently? Your last update was HIGH-styrical. I will check tomorrow. too tired now!

Have a question for those who have posted video...how do I get video from a cell phone to link to You Tube so people can see the videos?

I have never posted a video before but have a few that are awesome that need to be seen! So I need help from you smart people!

I iwll be back!

How did I know I could count on you for moral support! :confused3: worship:

Serious Question:

I know many of you have been saying you are needing to be kinder to your bodies as well....I had started a weight loss thread 2 years ago and it is going strong...I have not been the strong one at all for the last year... but I know many people don't feel comfortable jumping into an existing thread.

The core group of women there are very close, very supportive, very informative, many have met and are doing a race in WDW in a few months, welcome new people etc... and I know they would always be happy for new blood! In fact even though I started it, they all take turns starting the new chapter after we max enttries of the old one...we are in volume 8 I believe.

Anyway, just want an idea from you guys if anyone wants to join that thread...I need to re-commit myself there...or would people feel more like they would stick with a new thread.

I have no problem organizing challenges, weigh in's etc...so if you want a new group I feel comfortable taking that position again. If I started a new thread, we would weigh in every week, you would only need to post weight loss or plus on the thread - not weight itself.

I was much more of an intregal part of the old thread and then when Baylor got burned, I just stopped taking care of me except in short bursts and I need to be committed.

If anyone has an opinion one way or another - let me know.

I will either link the existing thread here or start a new one and link it here.

I want a thread for weight loss that I can be accountable and open in. I want a place that I can vent in and rally cry in. I feel either option is good for me but I have so many great friends here that I would love to support as well. It does not matter if it is just commiting to more excersize because you have no weight to lose, or if you have 100+ pounds to loose. All would be welcome either place. :thumbsup2

Dawn, with my husband gone for 3 weeks, I've finally had a chance to catch up, now hopefully I can stay that way. :goodvibes I can't believe you made that long drive, but if you hadn't, what would you have to write about? :rotfl: A friend of mine lives in Greensboro, NC and I've never thought of it as BFE, but maybe she just hasn't taken me to the right part yet. ;) I love hearing your family stories as they are so much more entertaining than mine. :goodvibes

We always joke with my MIL that if we had a girl her name would be SNOW of course my love of Disney I might actually do it as a middle name :rotfl:she'd probably hate me for the rest of her life :lmao:

I have a friend named Snow last name Walker though and have always liked her name. :thumbsup2

Dawn - I would totally be in for a new weightloss thread if you started one. I tried joining another group on that board awhile back, but it felt too much like I was interrupting something. However, if I am in from the start, then I would feel better about the whole thing. Let me know!

Chapter 5 - "How Vomit can lead to Snuggies"

We slept well and awoke ready to go for the day. It was Animal Kingdom or bust for us and I do not need any extra help (ok who I am I lying to…I want a lift and implants but not at this weight! ) in the latter department so we chose the first!

We had reservations at Boma’s for 9 a.m. and the kids were excited to get their buffet on. Everyone actually got showered and ready in a reasonable amount of time and we walked outside to view our surroundings. The kids thought the place was awesome and they were glad to see somewhere new. We had gotten Bldg 52 in Jamaica. Quick walk to main pool and eating and parking was close by as well. The only thing that would make CBR better is you could actually be in the water on the beach. Our room was the traditional Nemo style and we faced the water.

Typical double beds and I did not take any pictures because if you want them, you can take your happy @ss over to the resort thread. We had 5 in the room…Yes I know I will go to Disney Hades for admitting that but it worked out okay. Carsyn/Baylor alternated sleeping on the floor spot between the door and the bed. We had intended on bringing with a blow up air mattress but, alas, in Carsyn and my packing haste, we could not find it. We had blankets with us and usually take the comforters off anyway because the rooms are flippin hot, so we made a bed and there were no complaints.

Well there was some from Dan and I later in the trip…but that you will have to wait for details.

We found our car and loaded up. We went to AKL
P1030175.jpg

and decided to park valet because it is tons of fun to watch the valet dudes figure out how to drive the jalopy when they are used to driving higher end vehicular devices from rental facilities and or people who drive nice vehicles. Did I mention that the shifter in the van is not reading right in the dashboard?

Yeah, about that.

Like 2 weeks before we left, Carsyn was driving and she came home, announcing the shifter was broken. Translation: When you place the shifter in Park - it is registering on the D on the dash. Reverse is D1, Drive is now D2.…etc… It works fine but somehow something slipped within the dash and I am not about to pay $1,000 for a mechanic to tear apart the dash and maybe be able to fix something that technically is cosmetic.

So we haul our behinds out of the Van, hand the keys to the valet dude and get ready to go inside. Then I remembered the shifter dealio and Treyner ran to tell the valet dude that not only was he getting the privilege of driving the ghetto miser van straight off the road from Minnesota, with it’s content of cr@p but also, one of the rarest automobiles on the planet with specialized shifter lingo.

Valet dude was not impressed and I am not sure if he spoke English well. Maybe he was busy muttering to himself that at least if he was in Africa, he could pretty much be guaranteed the right way to drive a camel if he were a camel valet dude. Americans! Ptahooeey!

He took off in that baby like it was a Lamborghini and the kids smiled at the thought they could end up with a better vehicle after he totaled it.

P1030177.jpg

We walked in the lobby and I have to say it still takes my breath away being here. I love it. Someday I will stay there and be able to just soak in all the wonderments in hours of lobby glory.

P1030179.jpg

P1030178.jpg

For now though, we glanced around and headed down to Boma town.

We got our buzzer at check in, walked outside and immediately turned around again to be seated. The place was not packed at all. Not packed like I have seen it before during busy times and we were supposed to be there for peak season.

Now I have a few thoughts on Boma’s breakfasts. We paid OOP for this and Dan got his CM discount. I just do not know if it is worth a TS price or the price OOP for us. It is not that the food was bad - it was wonderful - and it’s not that they do not have an over abundance of choices, because they do. I just think for us - we eat a plate or 2 and do not fill them over full to begin with - and we are done. I never eat a ton at one sitting, I am more of a grazer so I think buffets are not the best value for us. I thought it last time we were there and this time was even more convinced. I am not saying we will never go back, because we might, I am just saying that for a miser like me who wants to feel we got our moneys worth - I need to accept I will never feel that way at a buffet.

We were seated at the center of the restaurant right by the stations and main walkway.

P1030183.jpg

Carsyn looks possessed here and I love the beard guy on the right who is wondering how the Paparazzi (ahemmm…me) found out he was really the Octo Mom’s babies daddy.

P1030184.jpg

Treyner and Carsyn ready for the food throw down!

We did not get the same waiter as last year but did see him. Our waiter this time was very nice, fast with the refills and over all was decent. Just no personality. Personality means a lot to me in a waiter. I want someone who is going to make me smile and enhances the enjoyment of the meal. Someone who you look forward to re-visiting your table because you genuinely like the person, not just because you want another Coke.

P1030197.jpg

Here are some snapshots of the food we had partaken in…and thoroughly enjoyed most of.

P1030187.jpg

Baylor’s first plates….mmmm…bacon!

P1030186.jpg

Jungle Juice

P1030189.jpg

My first plate….!

P1030190.jpg

Carsyn taking the serious approach!

P1030192.jpg

Treyner and his first two plates (he is the one who can handle breakfast food) …that is his “Mom - here is a stupid smile so you stop taking pictures” face.

P1030191.jpg

Dan’s plate! He usually hates cumin but loved the cumin egg dish as well.

P1030196.jpg

Okay - call me lame but in the middle -towards the right - is there not a whiter nut that looks like a Hidden Mickey?

P1030195.jpg

My second plate, tomatoes, African grits and curry egg dish since Dan liked it so well! Ham was very fatty but great flavor.

We were full, we were satisfied and we had gotten 2 refills of Jungle Juice (minus Dan who is allergic to OJ) and we were ready to roll on into AK itself. It was nice not being tired and it was nice being happy and together.

Then, our waiter…brought out:

P1030198.jpg

For both of the boys since they had b-day buttons on.

The boys who were not hungry, were really thankful and Treyner, looked like he would have a heart attack if he had to eat it all.

P1030199.jpg

I told them they had to try a few things to be polite and we all would munch a bit. The hamburger looking delicacy was pistachio flavored and I thought not too bad. The red pyramid jelly was similar to a sugar free diabetes type of chewy candy. Not much there at all. The apricot piece did not get tried by anyone and Baylor ate his chocolate ball. It was dark chocolate and he almost threw up. Which made us laugh a bit because Baylor is the food freak of the house. He is OCD about food being moldy or expiration dates and just has a strong smell and taste factor for things.

Treyner though, as any older brother would do out of love for the baby brother, choose to quietly wretch hoping to engage Baylor’s potential vomit. Baylor’s eyes at this point were watering because he was close to vomit threshold and because he was laughing at Treyner. I knew we had potential disaster quietly being built at our table. He had hit the point that spitting it out would do no good, drinking jungle juice was just icky with bile filled chocolate in the trap and swallowing it was the best option. Or it was coming out along with his entire meal. I prayed to God he could just swallow it. I grabbed Dan’s milk that was left and shoved it at Baylor.

I then leaned over the table and said to Treyner that if Baylor blew chunks, Treyner was not only paying for Baylor’s meal but that I would absolutely pick up Baylor by the seat of his pants and aim him at Treyner while vomit ensued.

Treyner knew I was dead serious and the faux wretching stopped, Baylor was able to swallow his chocolate ball and then, he looked at me and said:

“Why would you give me a snuggie to make me throw up on Treyner when I didn’t do anything wrong?”

I explained that it was not about him, it was about Treyner and this was a family and everyone had to do their part!

We paid our bill and decided to take the bus from AKL to AK because by now, it was 10 am and we felt we might be parking in Singapore. As we waited for the bus, I took some pics.

P1030203.jpg

Baylor texting Mallory, who BTW - is back to girlfriend status as we speak. I think Baylor just wanted to have an “M” to give his bracelet to!

P1030202.jpg

Ummmm…I did not know they had zoning for that outside at Disney.

P1030200.jpg

Baylor liking the sun!

P1030204.jpg

The first of many Unabomber photos from Treyner.

P1030205.jpg

Carsyn…pretending she has no family.

Then, a guy came forward that was there to assess and count the bus wait times etc.

This was one of the best times of the whole trip. He was a college student and was not always “Disney” friendly and was a riot! He would tell a new group of people coming up that the busses were totally shut down. That there was no way to get to AK but walk. Some people were so confused (esp. visitors from foreign lands) and they would turn around and start heading back to the hotel. One guy asked about renting a taxi, and was told that Disney has a new policy to not allow taxis. Just then a flock of taxis passed by.

The guy pointed to them, not speaking English well, and the intern said, those were not taxis.

The guy said, “Yes…Yes they are Taxis.”

The intern said, “where?” because now they had passed and were no longer visible.

He ribbed a girl that was standing by about her college choice and over all just heckled and goofed with us all. He was not crude and he was not rude, he just found it funny to be funny and talked about how at Disney, the interns could have a different girlfriend at each park because the guy to girl ratio supports it.

Most of us were laughing at him pretty hard. He was a sheer joy that morning and made the first day off to the best start. I was so glad we had decided to take the bus. Here he is, making sure we know bus safety before we get on.

P1030206.jpg

P1030207.jpg

P1030208.jpg

Baylor, Treyner and Dan, standing up on the bus ride over. I thought I would take some candid shots this trip so not always were people smiling or ready and some of them turned out to be my favorite.

:goodvibes

We will be making another long drive in March! Keys here we come via Knoxville, TN and Anderson, SC! :scared1:

Glad you are all caught up!

Dawn - I would totally be in for a new weightloss thread if you started one. I tried joining another group on that board awhile back, but it felt too much like I was interrupting something. However, if I am in from the start, then I would feel better about the whole thing. Let me know!
Gotcha down for new one! Thank you!
Dawn you know my opinion of weight loss threads :rotfl:
Yes I do! You would love to start one with me and be in charge of graphs and stats and such! :rotfl2: Or at least until it is golfing weather! :rotfl:

Anyway -you look fab just as you are!

I so agree about buffets and especially breakfast ones. We never get our moneys worth as we just don't eat enough. I'd definitely prefer to spend the same amount on a nice steak and dessert :thumbsup2

How sweet that the boys got a special dessert even though you weren't sure what it was and so pleased no one was sick :rotfl:

OMG we had Ricky a few mornings at the GF, he is a riot isn't he, so funny :)

Yes I do! You would love to start one with me and be in charge of graphs and stats and such! :rotfl2: Or at least until it is golfing weather! :rotfl:
:rotfl2: Well I've got 3 golf matches in the next 4 days so all weather is golfing weather in the UK :rotfl2:

Anyway -you look fab just as you are!
You flatterer you :goodvibes Seriously though I could do with losing a stone (14 pounds) I lost about 4 or 5 in WDW but put them all back on :sad2: maybe I need to move to Florida :rotfl:
