We arrived at Disneyland yesterday and went on Space Mountain for the very first time. This was one of the coolest rides I ever have been on. It is somewhat similar to the Florida version, but I just wanted to say that the one here in Disneyland is absolutely awesome!

Also, I have never done Tower of Terror, and we are going to do that today. Nervous is an understatement for me at the moment. I'm praying I don't chicken out. However, I have heard good things, so the nerves come with excitement.

Glad you liked SM-I too think the one here is best! And I absolutely love ToT! The first times we rode it was at WDW but then we got it here at DCA. I like the DCA version better. :scared1: None of the moving forward part that WDW one has. Once you see yourselves turned into ghosts (so cool and only at DLR) it's right into the tower! I :lovestruc this ride. I don't get to ride it as often as I'd like since if it's just DD8 and I at DCA she won't go on it (She's done it a few times but doen't really like it) I'm hoping to convert her over to a ToT lover, like my DM and myself! :cloud9:

Hope you're having a wonderful time at DLR! You've had some great weather. Any dreams?

SPACE MOUNTAIN ROCKS!!! :thumbsup2

After 2 days in FL with my toddler, I was amazed at what a REAL ride was like when I took advantage of the child swap pass and finally went on it for the 1st time in 7 years. Couldn't wipe the smile off of my face!

Glad you enjoyed it too!

I'm glad you liked SM... When we went last year it was one of my 4yrs fav. rides! Same with ToT he loved them both! We didn't do tower till the day we were leaving so we did it 3-4 times in a row! I'm sure once you try it would be become a lover too! Have a good rest of your trip!

Glad to hear you liked SM so much. I'm a little jealous that you are there and I am stuck in the gloomy midwest!

I haven't been on TOT at DL but have a few times at WDW. It is one of my boy's favorite rides. He covers his eyes during the show part that DL doesn't have so he may really like DL's version. Hope you survive!

Just got back from the park. I was so nervous going on Tower of Terror. Man, that anticipation is really scary. The dark rooms and scary noises really adds to the suspense. And then the actual thrill was scary but awesome. You really can feel yourself float out of your seat. It's a great ride, but I can understand why some people might not like it. Anyway, I'll be going again later tonight when its dark out. Should be fun. Thanks for the opinions everyone.
