Space Mountain after Renovaiton???

Does anyone know what Space Mountain will be like after renovation? What are they changing or updating? Will it be more thrilling such as the Space Mountain in Paris? I am going to WDW in September and possibly Disneyland in December. I know Space Mountain in WDW is fun, but it is showing age in the thrill category next to rides like the Rockin Roller Coaster in MGM and in Disneyland I would imagine it is not as thrilling in some ways as the newer rides there also...

Don't get me wrong, I love Space Mountain, but would also like it to be updated as well...

My understanding is that the track will be exactly the same. The of course replaced the entire track but the design is the same. They have updated and changed some of the effects that happen while on the ride.
