Glad I'm not dealing with those crowds. I imagine tomorrow will be even worse.

Who waits 3 hours for space mountain though? Good grief!!!

Exactly . .I've always wondered who sees "120 minute wait time (or more)" and then gets into the line. It takes a LOT of people doing that to bump that wait time to 190 unless there is some outage.

It happens. I've seen it into the 200 minutes before in the Summer and around the Holidays. We were at EPCOT yesterday and it was pretty crowded. Test Track was 90 minutes and the single rider line was even at 45 minutes at one point. Mission:Space was at 45 as well which is rare. With Soarin' being down I'm sure that adds to the wait times of other attractions now.

World Showcase was not overly crowded. We hit four or five kiosks to try food and beverages with no lines at any of them.

This weekend should be very busy I'm sure. The weather is iffy right now as well. It poured down rain last evening on and off for a good three or four hours starting around 7:00 or so. It's supposed to be raining this weekend as well. Chances of rain this weekend goes 40%, 50%, 80% for today, tomorrow and Sunday.

It may have also had some problems. It seemed to be having some issues last week. Even the FP+ line seemed to take forever. I know that TSMM SB times looked very inflated in the morning on Sunday. We had FP+ and anytime/any ride FP+, so we rode it 3 times with FP. The first two times the SB line said 75-95 minute wait. It definitely was not over an hour. I don't even think it was much more than 30 minutes. They were feeding both FP and SB in pretty fast. It was longer a little later in the day but still not exorbitant. Also, the SB waits are based upon how many FP+ there are. So, if they are giving out a lot of FP+, it may inflate, or artificially inflate, the SB wait times. However, I suspect SM was really that bad from our FP+ experiences.

Back when Soarin was new, my husband took the baby back to the resort for a nap and I hung out at Epcot, solo. I gladly stepped into that 2 hour line. 2 hours, by myself, and I got to go on a new ride? Score!

Now…I would NEVER wait more than 20 – 30 minutes…for any ride.

We went this week (leading up to Easter) last year and we must have toured right (Thanks, Josh!) because crowds were NEVER bad. Worst was about 30 minutes in the sun for Great Movie Ride..

Well Splash mountain is showing as closed right now and had a 90 min wait an hour ago. Feel bad for those people lol

I was thinking about this last night. I grew up in Southern California and we regularly went to Disneyland. It was not uncommon to wait two hours to get onto Space Mountain. Back then we thought nothing of it, granted this was back in the late 80s and early 90s. Now I won't wait more than 30 minutes for a ride.

It's amazing how our perspective changes as we get older! :teeth:

Nope - we would NEVER get in a line that long! My kids won't wait in any long lines. 30 minutes is about our limit. We always work the FP's and we've been going to long, it's now a "we can do that another time" situation. They don't even want to go to Six Flags any more because they refuse to wait in a long line!

I have to admit that I have waited in long lines for Gringott's and Forbidden Journey at Universal. Not more than an hour though. There's not a lot of options there for those rides. You can do single rider, but everyone has to be old enough and you skip the queue, which is one of the best parts of those rides. First thing in the morning is good, but you only have so many of those and they are in different parks. One nice thing at Universal is it is very easy to eat in the queues. They even have carts selling stuff in some of the lines. A nice ice cream, butterbeer, and a caramel bar are a great way to kill time in those lines.

Disney seemed to be getting picky this trip about people eating and drinking in the lines. I was even told that I couldn't drink my hot tea in the Sum of All Thrills line; however, it was perfectly fine to stand next to the line chain near my family and drink my tea:confused3 I just chose to throw it out:sad2: I sometimes don't get the rational behind these decisions. I can see not wanting people to take it into the the rooms or actual rides, but eating and drinking are allowed throughout that building.

Well, as of 3:30 pm EDT, MDE is showing a bunch of rides as "closed" at MK, including [edit] three of the four mountains. Of course, my thought was, wow, the lines are so long they don't even want to show the wait times!! LOL

I think they are under a severe TS watch in the area. This may be the reason for the closed rides.

We were at MK today and Space Mountain wait hit 195 minutes at one point. Then the downpour started. Sitting on my Yacht Club balcony with warm coffee watching the end of the storm. This is my first (and last) trip at Spring Break - I have never seen such crowds.

Happy to hear you are at your resort and the wild weather is moving on. About the crowds....WOW!!!

We were thinking of either going this week next year, or last week of August. We hate the heat, but think we'd hate the intense crowds even worse. Sorry for the crowds, hope you're enjoying your coffee at what looks like a beautiful resort.

I was in the MK today. Space Mountain was closed for a while this morning before the thunderstorms so the wait was not related to weather. I am not sure why it was closed but for a couple of hours around 11:30am- 1pm but that's what it was saying on the app when I checked wait times.

The waits over new years were brutal also. Even Buzz was 80 and 90 minutes and haunted Mansion was well over an hour all day. Pooh was over an hour.
The longest wait I ever waited for the Finding nemo submarine voyage in Disneyland Ca and that was a good 2 hours. They had no Fastpass and i really loved the old 20,000 leagues ride in FL. so we waited. It was very good so i didn't mind as much. This was a rope drop when Disney guests were already in the park. I swear half or more people in the park were in that line for the subs.
