Space Mnt or left side non-early entray Saturday?

My husband and I will be at DL this Saturday. The reg. opening time is 8am and we will be at the park by then. Sat. is an early entry day (so 7am for those folks). Do we head straight to Space Mountain for FP? or do we start with rope drop into Adventureland since that side will not have been open early for the MM folks?

I want to do Space Mnt, but I don't want to waste all my FP time getting a SM Fastpass that won't allow me to get another FP for 2 hrs? Then again, I don't want to miss Space Mnt. either.

Any Saturday suggestions?

Your first FP return time will be quicker than 2 hours. It depends on when they open the FP return line. Sometimes it's only 40 minutes after opening, sometimes it's an hour. On a busy weekend, I'm guessing it'll be sooner. So when you pick up your first FP right at 8:05 or whenever you get over there, the return time will probably be 8:40, which is when you'll be able to get your next FP.

So it would probably work to run for Space Mountain and get your first FP (and maybe ride if it's walk-on) and then head over to left side. You can do some other stuff, PotC, HMH before the 8:40 return time and then pick up your second FP, maybe for Indy or Splash. The next return time will probably be about 45 mins to an hour-- so 9:30-9:45 or so. After that, the return times will probably be back up to the two hour mark or more.

We did this 2 weeks ago-- grabbed a Space FP first (and rode, too, because it's our favorite!) and then went over to the left side and hit some non-FP rides before we collected our next FP. Then you've got 4 FPs to collect over there, Indy, Splash, HMH and BTMRR (probably in that order, too, because of popularity). Save your FPs and use them all later in the afternoon or evening, after a break.

I would get the SM FP first thing. Your return time won't be 2 hrs, and even if it is, it's still worth it. SM often runs out of FP towards the end of the day, it's better to get at least 1 early in the day so you can ensure riding it at least once.

We were there for early entry last Sunday, but didn't go over and get our Space FP until about 7:50am or so? The RT was about 8:40am. All of the FP RT's were very close on Sunday. Saturday may be a little busier, but we had no trouble getting lots of FP either day - details in my TR on the TR board.
