Space 220 question/strategy

Yes I know this is about dining but I hope someone can answer my question. I read that you had to wait in person for your reservation. The bloggers I read had been there waiting for 4 hours and still had a way to go does anyone know if the whole party has to wait or can the family go do other things while one person waits?

Space 220 is only accepting walk ups during their first week of opening (no reservations). Unless your trip is this week, reservations are the way to go.

Since it just opened yesterday, I don't know that there would be enough people with personal experience to speak to this yet. I can't imagine they would have an issue with one person waiting, but this is probably a question for the cast members at the restaurant.

I am here now. I got to the park around 10:30. They held us in an orderly queue and I got reservations for 12:30. They said they learned from their mistakes. Now they are giving VQs and texting for return times edit to add. We are on test track

So they have apparently transitioned to a virtual queue now. This should make things easier for you.

Yes. When we checked in they still had reservations left for this evening. If you are planning to do a walk up this week there is not a need to get to the park super early and wait in a long line. People were walking right up and getting reservations after the rush was over. As I said before it was very orderly this morning and I was through the line by the time the park started opening fully. They let us I. Around 20 til to line up and I was done with my reservation by 10:56.
