My family has dinner ADRs for Space 220 but I have issues with eating so need smaller portions and plainer food. The children’s menu have a small steak and fries that might work. Could I get that? Would I pay the adult or the children price?

Just a guess but I do not think they would mind if you order off the kid’s menu

Since Space 220 is not owned or operated by Disney, it would be up to the discretion of the restaurant manager. You may be able to order a kid's meal, but might be charged the adult price (especially if seating in restaurant and not lounge). You might want to try for a lounge reservation. It is the same experience, except sitting on top level. The lounge can serve the pre fixe menu or the lounge ala carte menu.

As prix fixe dining, it is age based pricing if you get a restaurant reservation, so you would pay the full adult price.

If you want to eat smaller, you might want to consider a lounge based reservation (which allows ordering off the lounge menu and not having to stick to prix fixe)...

Its an age specific prix fixe so you'll pay the adult price.
You MAY be able to order off the children's menu but you may not.
I always recommend that you find restaurants where everyone going can find something they want to eat and if that can't happen then you don't choose to eat at that location.

I forgot it was not owned by Disney and it is a prefix meal with thst I too do not see them letting you order off the kids menu

Thanks for the information. Some of the others are going and I got us all a Cafe May breakfast on a different day for a family meal. Can’t see paying that price for a meal I can’t eat. Will do lounge on a future trip.

While you may have to pay the full price, there should be a way to get "plainer food". Disney has a wonderful reputation for handling food allergies and other such issues. Tell your waiter you are on a special diet and need to speak to the chef. They can omit sauces, etc. You may have to portion it out yourself though once it arrives at the table.

I really wanted to make this happen for our next trip, but my 11 year old (who eats like a bird) would be $79 too. I can't justify 4 adults (one 13, one 11) for this cool experience. If my 13, 11, and 9 year olds were allowed to order from the kids menu, I would try like crazy to get a reservation. I think the bar area would let you customize to your needs better.
