I was up at 4:40 am central today for reservations. I was aiming for lunch because i thought I'd have a better chance. Got lunch, now 12+ hours later everything is still available even dinner 🥴 is dinner really worth the extra money (don't care about dessert) or is lunch just as good? Trying to decide if I should swap.

I don't have answers to your questions, but curious about the availability! For which day you were able to see these (ex. 60 days, 60 +4)? I've never seen ANY availability, but usually have shorter trips (~3 days).

I would suggest looking at the menus (they’re not exactly the same) & deciding which appeals to you more. My DH prefers the fillet so we‘ve done dinner twice.

if you don't care about the desert, why pay extra money for it??

I got one lunch reservation for our upcoming trip in Feb. People go to Space 220 not because of food, but because of atmosphere.

We book both lunch and dinner. I look up the sunset time for the day and book the dinner ADR so that we can watch the change from day to l night move across the Earth during dinner.
this sounds so cool, is this really a thing? Just the real sunset time of florida for any given day?

I’d stick with lunch. I don’t think the price difference is worth it. The coffee rubbed steak on the lunch menu was surprisingly delicious and probably more flavorful than the filet

Omg I had no idea! I just might do that, sounds cool. Or do one meal and the other lounge 🤔
Remember that in the lounge you can also order the prix fixe menu. You are just not FORCED to. If someone in your party does not want the prix fixe meal, definitely book the lounge vs restaurant if there is ADR availability. If you want to go twice, I would still book the Lounge both times since you never know how you will feel on that day :)

Lunch is terrible price and dinner is just poorly priced.

If you want to go I would go dinner simply because the menu is way better for the price IMO.

We dined here in November....It was dinner but I wish I had timed it just a bit better as it was still 'daylight" out - images I've seen after sunset are much more vibrant than what we saw.

That said - I would always book the lounge - and most likely shoot for a "right around sunset" dinner. We enjoyed the appetizers, the view is the same. We had PLENTY to eat with the appetizers we ordered for our party of three and the bill was not much more than what ONE person would have been with the prix fixe dinner meals!

Yeah, after some thinking I have to agree.

We have light meals at lunch as well though. I just can’t picture myself enjoying this at lunch for that reason.

If I did go again I’d still book dinner.

No!!!!! It’s not a good meal to say the least and visuals were boring to us

We did the lounge and it was kind of neat but a one and done experience for use. The food was good and because we were in the lounge the price was good. I would have thought it incredibly over priced had we had to have done the prix fixe.

yeah, most people recommend lounge, but it is quite hard to get one. I got one reservation for lunch, mainly for the kids.
