Looking forward to booking a spa villa next week when my booking window opens for our Alaskan cruise. I've done this in the Caribbean but not in cooler weather.

What I'm wondering is if it's open air in Alaska also? Those of you that may have done this I would appreciate your feedback. I know it will be weather dependent but I'm really looking forward to the beautiful view while relaxing!

I am sure you can request open air if the weather is warm enough on the day you are there. If it is not, they will have the glass doors shut. You will still get the beautiful view...just through the glass.

Thanks. I guess I just need to hope it's not too cold as I would enjoy having the doors open. In the hot tub won't be an issue but wondering if they have blankets for the bed?

I'm sure they will have blankets. Also...just FYI...on the Alaskan cruises they stock the towel cabinets on Deck 9 half with pool towels and half with blankets. :)

I'm hoping to book the alone time when we go I'm 2016...sounds amazing! Can you get beverages while you are sitting in the hot tub? Because THAT would be even better!

I'm assuming it will be like the Magic. No adult drinks but water and tea with fruit are served. Very relaxing!

That's good to know. I will probably use the blankets while my daughter swims! Hoping it won't be too cold.
