Spa Treatments at AKL

DH suggested DD and I do something here - anyone take a twelve year old? She's a girlie-girl, but wouldn't go for a massage. I'm thinking facials or pedicures.

Any help? And what was the cost?

Check out www.relaxedyet.com - it has a list of all services and prices. I'm pretty sure they have a "my first facial" although I'm not sure about the cost. I have had wonderful experiences with spa treatments at AKL. Enjoy!

The website has GF and SSR listed but not AKL. Are the same services offered at AKL?

when you're under the relaxedyet site go under fitness centers it will list the options & locations of the resort healthclubs that offer some spa treatments massages, facials, wraps.

not all the offerings are the same for the resort healthclubs as the full blown fabolous gf & ssr spas.

you can also look into one of the wdw salons for a beauty treatment, makeup, nails, etc. like the ivy trellis at gf, the periwig salon at the yc or casa de bellaza at the coronado springs.

Last December (2004) my 2 DD (12 & 13) got their hair done at the GF. They each went for half braids. My DW was with them, while I spent the time with DS at the pool. DW and both DD could not stop talking about how they were catered to.

I would think AKL would be no different.
You know your daughter, what would she like most? Nails, toes, hair, facial?

Thanks for the info. I think she'll really feel special doing this on our resort day. DH and DS will have fun hanging by the pool (and the pool bar, for DH!).
