DH has booked spa appointments for us for tomorrow morning. It includes a formulated spa tub, body scrub, body polish, massage, and foot care with reflexology. Do you think I need to wear a bathing suit? The tub part of this has me thoroughly confused. Thanks!

I've never worn a bathing suit to a spa. Nekkid is the way to go.

Attendants generally are not in the room with you when disrobed. They will explain what you should do and get the bath prepped, then leave.

When doing massages, you are always covered with blanket/towel/robe and they only expose the area they are massaging...and its just legs, arms, shoulders, back, neck, face. Private areas are not touched.

Honestly, to get the full relaxation and benefit, totally naked under the robe is the way to go.

I've always done underwear only during massages. I would feel funny sitting topless in a tub if I am wearing something on the bottom, but not on the top. You are probably right about the tub though. I'm sure I'll be in there alone, so I can strip down if wanted. Then, I can always 'dress to my comfort level' for the other treatments.

Totally naked for all of my spa treatments. I've done scrubs, wraps, baths, massages, etc. Always in the birthday suit.
