Hey Everyone,

We will be sailing on the Magic next October 2016 from NYC. We are super excite and I am trying to put together a list of a few things I was us to do as a family - myself, DH DS9 & DS3 - as well as a few things just as couples like Palo Brunch. Now I want to do something at the Spa and I am wondering for those that have gotten something done at the Spa - did you like it? Was it worth the price? Also how does payment for the services work? Do you prepay and pre-tip before hand?

We (DH and I) just returned from the Magic a few weeks ago. We had a couples massage and weren't impressed at all. It costs $300 for two fifty minute massages that were mediocre. We have had couple massages around the world and honestly this one ranks at the bottom. We have already decided that we will skip the spa next summer on the Magic and instead put the money to our bar tab. ;)

I always book something at the spa and have been very pleased. The Alone Time is great and you choose the treatment. I've gotten facials, massages and body wraps. I love the spa villas and since DH is not a spa guy, I have it all to myself!

We always book something at the Spa. We've done individual massages and couple's massages in the past. We never book ahead of time though. We wait until we board the ship and go to the spa to see what kind of specials they are offering. We've always found a "deal" that fit us.

You pay for the spa service, and the tip, by signing a slip that charges it to your on-board account.

I do it every time, I love the hot stone massage. I'm very much looking forward to it again this cruise!

Love Love Love the Spa. The last cruise I know my husband did the bamboo massage and said it is his favorite. I'm a huge fan of the couples wraps. That always seems to get our cruise off to a nice start. Unless there is some"specialty" service like a wrap, definitely wait and check out the daily deals. They have saved us a lot of money in the past. Usually there are a list of services and you get to pick 3 or more for a set price. Never been disappointed.
