I was wondering if anyone knew where I could get the souviner cups that have the lightup Buzz and TinkerBell and Lightning McQueen. Every menu that has these listed is a TS and we are not planning on doing and TS (since we are doing some Character Breakfasts). DD who will be 14 months will not sit long enough and DH and I do not want to put ourselves threw the tortue twice in one day :rotfl2: Does anyone know of any CS places that offer these or will I have to just bit the bullet and do a TS so my son could get one of the cups? Thanks

I believe they are only at TS restaurants. I don't remember seeing them at any CS locations. You could go to a TS location and ask to buy the drink.

As far as I know you can't get them anywhere but a TS. I would go to a TS that has an attached lounge and ask if you can order one via the lounge. (DDP credits cannot be used for these drinks in case that is a consideration)

Thanks that is what I figured since I did not see them on the menu for CS maybe we will try to go one night for dessert and order one or try the lounge. Thanks for the replies.

On parade nights they have the carts that sell them. I think they were tink and capt hook.

They sold them at the lounge in the Wilderness Lodge just last week. We had a light dinner of appitizers there and I noticed them on the menu. I had purchased the cup and light for my son earlier in the week and he loved the lemonaid that came in it and I remember that they had them because I asked if we could get the drink in a regular cup because we already had the cup and light. It would be super easy to go into the lounge and just order the drink for your son.

And thank you so much for thinking of other guests. We had dinner at Yak and Yeti and a mother allowed her toddler to scream and yell through their entire meal, while the rest of the guests watched on as she struggled to keep him seated or on her lap for almost an hour. My family, along with all the guests in my view, were furious by the end of our meal.

Thanks for the other suggestions We are there for 12 days so I will look during the parade and if not I think the WL lounge would be good since we were thinking of visiting to look at the grounds (DFIL retires next year and is taking us on a trip to celebrate :) and he was thinking of staying there) Does anyone know if they sell them at the pool bars?

(OT) I have learned from DS not to do any sit down resturants in the afternoon/evening even if they have had a nap they can not settle down. We have the best luck with breakfast sit down they have been well rested from a good nights sleep and have not been over-stimulated from the parks. Besides bothering the other guests how could that mother enjoy her meal. IMO it is just not worth it!. :confused3

Hahaha, that's exactly what I said. Surely they weren't enjoying their meal either. And I've been there with my two boys. They both went through phases where we just couldn't eat out with them. First of all because it wasn't enjoyable for us, and second of all because I'd never want to force other's to sit through my kids meltdown. We've gone so far as leaving and having our dinner packed up to take home in the middle of a meal when one of our kids started the dreaded "wanna get down".

You will love WL. We've stayed there twice before and its our "home away from home". We spent a week at CBR just last week and stopped by WL before our drive home and DH decided that he missed WL too much and we called and booked a night from the lobby. Best night of the whole trip. Even my kids love this place. They'd pick it over all the other resorts, and they've stayed at the Poly, Beach Club, Animal Kingdom Lodge, and the pirate rooms at CBR, among many other WDW resorts. Still WL is our family's home resort when in WDW. I'd recommend saving a few hours one evening to explore the place. You could swing by and pick up your little guy's drink and spend a nice relaxing afternoon or evening walking around. Enjoy your upcoming trip!

Do most TS offer these cups? Does anyone know where I can find Cars or Toy Story themed ones? Cost? We will be in the dining plan if that saves any. Thanks.

You can't use the dining plan for drinks in souvenir cups or accompanied by light-up novelties (and these have both).

No Toy Story cups - you can choose between Cars or Fairies and they're currently listed as costing $6.49. A lot of TS have them.

In Dec my son got one at our Chef Mickey dinner

They have them at Sci Fi, Mama Melrose, and 50 Primetime. I think it's 50's cafe that has the new Toy Story 3 Buzz Lightyear ones.

We were just in WDW last week and it seems that they were on the menu at all TS places we ate. Here is a list of places we ate during the week. Sci Fi, Les Chefs de France, San Angel, Yak and Yeti, Ohanas, Grand Floridian Cafe, Whispering Canyon Cafe, and the lounge at Wilderness Lodge (can't think of the name at the moment). I'm almost positive that most of these places all had the cups. I know my son got his at Sci Fi, he loved the lemonaid punch so at most of our other meals I had to ask for the punch, but not with the cup since we already had it. And as of last week your choices were Toy Story and Fairies. The Toy Story cup came with the light up Buzz, and the Fairies cup with a tink. I believe the price was something like $6.49 or $6.99. These are not included in the dining plan. Hope this helps.

We got them at Ohana's during dinner. They are Minute Maid, some flavor of fruit punch, and so good! We only had the option of Tink or Captain Hook.

Ah, so they are phasing out Cars for Toy Story apparently

Thanks for letting me know where to find the cups. I leave in almost 2 months. Darn, I was hoping to get Toy Story & Cars. At least Toy Story is popular around my house these days. Can't wait to see it this weekend at the El Capitan.
